📝 Quick summary of key information

Why is a giraffe very tall and how does it help her to see far?

The giraffe is the tallest animal in the world. With its long neck and long legs, it can see very far. This helps it to spot dangers and find food.

Because of her great height, the giraffe can see over the trees and bushes. She watches her surroundings and spots dangers from far away.

Giraffes eat the leaves of trees, especially acacias. They help keep the forests balanced by eating the leaves of the tallest trees.

Giraffes live in groups called herds. They spend most of their time eating and moving around. They sleep very little, often standing up, and sometimes rest lying down on the ground.

Gabriella the Giraffe and the Dancing Branches

Why is a giraffe very tall and how does that help her see far?

Gabriella the Giraffe's Amazing View

After learning how their stripes(1) help them hide in the savannah, Zuma and Zara, two brave zebras, became even more curious. This adventure taught them to observe the hidden wonders of their environment(2) while strengthening their bonds with other savannah animals. One day, while exploring the edges(3) of Wonder Hill, Zuma and Zara spot(4) Gabriella the Giraffe, their tall-necked friend, who seems to be watching something very carefully.

Zuma, curious, asks:
« Gabriella the Giraffe, what are you looking at? »

Gabriella the Giraffe, after looking at the horizon for a long time, said:
« I see far, very far. My height helps me spot hidden things. »

Zara, admiringly, adds:
« That's right. You see dangers and treasures. »

Gabriella the Giraffe, with a warm smile, says:
« Yes, my height is useful for guiding my friends. »

Zuma, full of energy, asks:
« Did you see something interesting while looking far away? Maybe a secret path? »

Gabriella the Giraffe, with a mysterious look, says:
« Yes, a mysterious path to a secret place. I will show you. »

Zara, excited, says: « That's great! But let's get some supplies(5) first. »

Gabriella the Giraffe, with a happy smile, says:
« Yes, let's look for berries and leaves full of water. »

After gathering some berries and water-rich leaves, the three friends set off, excited for the adventure ahead. Gabriella the Giraffe then shares a map carved on an old bark(6), showing a promising path that might bring the group closer to the legendary Tree of Life. They walk together, ready to discover the mysteries of the savanna.

The Secrets of the Savannah

The three friends follow the map carefully, their eyes checking every detail of the landscape. Gabriella the Giraffe, with her sharp eyes, leads the way. Zuma and Zara follow close behind, eager to find out what this mysterious path hides.

Zuma, curious, asks:
« Gabriella the Giraffe, where does this path lead? »

Gabriella the Giraffe, with a mysterious smile, says:
« To a secret place, full of surprises. »

Zara, curious, asks:
« What kind of surprises? »

Gabriella the Giraffe, with an excited smile, exclaims:
« Rare plants, fascinating animals. »

Not long after, they arrive at a clearing filled with colorful flowers. Gabriella the Giraffe explains that these flowers attract beautiful butterflies. Zuma and Zara watch, amazed, as the butterflies flutter(7) around them.

Zuma, amazed, says:
« It's wonderful! »

Gabriella the Giraffe, with a big smile, says:
« Yes, the savannah is full of wonders. »

After admiring the butterflies, Gabriella the Giraffe, Zuma, and Zara continue their journey through the tall grass. They decide to take a well-deserved break in the sparkling water of a river. That's when they meet Hugo, a curious and fun-loving hippopotamus. Hugo shows them that the water is a perfect place to cool off and discover secrets. Hippopotamuses, after all, know how to use the benefits of water, especially when the sun is shining brightly. Together, they continue their quest, ready to discover new wonders and protect their beloved savannah. Their next adventure might take them to the Enchanted Forest, where new mysteries await.
