The cheetah is the speed champion in the animal world. With its long legs and light body, it can run over 110 km/h in just a few seconds. Imagine a race car on four legs!

The cheetah uses its speed to hunt. It spots its prey, often antelopes or gazelles, and chases them very fast. Once close, it jumps and catches its prey with its sharp claws.

The Unexpected Race

With Elephant Eloi, the Giant with Big Ears, Zuma and Zara learned how elephants use their huge‎ (1) ears to cool down. Eloi also shared exciting legends about the Tree of Life, making them even more curious and eager to explore. Soon after, Zuma and Zara were walking near the Lake of Illusions, admiring the sparkling reflections on the water. Suddenly, they heard the sound of fast‎ (2) paws on the ground. It was Cheetah Gustave, their brave‎ (3) friend, running towards them with a mischievous smile.

Cheetah Gustave, out of breath, says:
« Hi Zuma, hi Zara. Do you want to discover a secret? »

Zuma, excited, says:
« Yes, tell us quickly! »

Cheetah Gustave, all excited, says: « I ran through the savannah and found a secret path in the sand. I think this path might lead us to unexplored‎ (4) places and forgotten‎ (5) secrets. Do you want to come with me to find out what it is? »

After listening to Cheetah Gustave, Zuma and Zara are curious. They decide to follow their friend in a fast race. They cross grassy plains, go around big rocks, and jump over clear streams. Cheetah Gustave leaps over obstacles with amazing skill. His sharp eyes spot hidden clues, like paw prints or moved leaves.

Zara, curious, asks:
« Cheetah Gustave, you run so fast. How do you see all this? »

Cheetah Gustave, with a proud smile, explains:
« I train every day. My eyes are very sharp. They spot the smallest details. »

Back at the camp, Cheetah Gustave shows a clue he found on a secret path in the sand, helping the quest move forward.

The Secret of the Path

Zuma and Zara look at the little shiny stone with wonder‎ (6). They wonder what magic it holds.

Zuma, curious, asks:
« What is this stone? »

Zara, eyes wide open, whispers:
« Yes, it shines a lot. »

Cheetah Gustave, with a mysterious smile, then announces:
« This stone is magic. It comes from the Tree of Life. It will help us continue our quest. »

Zuma and Cheetah Gustave are amazed. They know that this discovery is very important. They decide to rest a little to think about what to do next. Cheetah Gustave tells stories about his life as a cheetah.

Zara, curious, asks:
« Cheetah Gustave, you run so fast. How do you do it? »

Cheetah Gustave, with a proud smile, explains:
« I train every day. My paws are fast and my eyes are sharp. They spot the smallest details. »

After a moment of rest, Zuma, Zara and Cheetah Gustave set off again. As they follow the secret path traced in the sand, a quick shadow is seen slipping between the grasses. This mysterious shadow seems to be guiding them towards a new adventure. Intrigued, the friends decide to follow this shadow, curious to discover its secrets. Cheetah Gustave, with his energy and curiosity, leads the group. He is determined to protect his friends and to discover new mysteries of the savannah. Together, they venture towards unknown horizons‎ (7), ready to live new adventures and to discover the hidden secrets of their enchanted world.
