📝 Quick summary of key information

How do we know that spring has arrived in the meadow?

Spring is a magical season in the meadow. The days get longer and the sun shines brighter, warming the earth. The first flowers start to poke through the ground, adding splashes of color after winter.

The migratory birds are back, singing loudly to announce their return. Butterflies and bees come out of hibernation, buzzing around the flowers to make honey. Frogs croak happily near the ponds.

Plants and flowers change quickly. Trees grow green leaves, and wildflowers like daisies and daffodils bloom, creating a colorful carpet in the meadow. Tall grasses grow, giving a hiding place for little animals.

There are many sounds in spring. Birds sing at dawn, insects buzz, and animals wake up after their long winter sleep. Rabbits and squirrels run everywhere, looking for food.

The First Steps of Spring

How do we know that spring has arrived in the meadow?

Signs of Spring

Félix the fox and Brindille the mouse wake up under a bright sky, their shapes(1) standing out against the golden grasses of the meadow. After exploring rolling(2) hills and crossing sparkling rivers during many past adventures, they discover strange footprints in the wet earth as they venture(3) along a new path. Their curiosity piqued(4), they decide to follow these mysterious(5) tracks to find out who might have left them.

Félix, curious, leans towards Brindille and says:
« Look, Brindille, these tracks are new. Who could have come this way? »

Brindille, eyes shining with curiosity, says:
« I don't know. Let's go see further. Maybe we'll find some clues. »

After walking a few meters, they spot colorful flowers slowly opening. Insects buzz around them, welcoming spring. Soft grass grows, and animals come out of their hiding places.

Félix, looking at the meadow, says:
« Spring is here. The days are longer. Flowers and insects are back. »

Brindille, with a cheeky smile, says:
« Yes, and the footprints keep going. Let's follow them a bit more. »

While walking, they find strange footprints in the wet earth. Who could have passed by there? Their first adventure begins!

On the Trail of the Mystery

After discovering the footprints, Félix and Brindille follow the tracks with curiosity. They walk in the meadow, and the tall grass tickles their paws.

Félix, amazed, says:
« Look, Brindille, these flowers are wonderful. »

Brindille, amazed, exclaims:
« Yes, and the butterflies are flying around. They are so colorful. »

Félix, curious about the butterflies, explains:
« You are right, they use their colors to blend in with their surroundings. For example, some butterflies mimic leaves or flowers to avoid being spotted by birds. »

Brindille, looking up, says: « The bees are buzzing(6) around the flowers. They carry the pollen. »

As Félix and Brindille continue their walk, they notice that the trees are starting to bud(7) and the birds are singing louder. The mysterious footprints lead them to a small stream. As they get closer, they see that there are tracks of little animals around the water.

To solve the mystery of the footprints, Félix and Brindille decide to follow them until they find someone who can tell them more. Then, they come face to face with Léo, the jumping and clever rabbit, who gives them the answer they've been looking for with his amazing talents and speed. Félix and Brindille realize that the footprints belong to a young hare exploring the meadow for the first time. Félix and Brindille understand that spring is really here, bringing new life and unforgettable adventures. They promise to keep exploring the meadow to discover even more hidden secrets. Who knows what surprises await them on their next adventure?
