Noisette the Squirrel and the Great Wise Oak Tree

Why do squirrels climb trees?

The meeting with Noisette

After discovering the delicious tastes of Belle the Deer who was enjoying her flower feast in the Field of a Thousand Flowers, Félix the fox and Brindille the mouse left this wonderful place. Léo told them the story of Belle, and then the animals said goodbye. Félix and Brindille started a new adventure in the meadow. They walked for a while, noses in the air, smelling the scents of the meadow. In the distance, they spotted the Great Wise Oak, a majestic(1) tree where the older animals of the meadow often came to share their memories.

A short time later, they arrived at the base of the Great Wise Oak. They looked up and saw Noisette the Squirrel jumping from branch to branch. Noisette had a reddish fur and bright eyes. She jumped from one branch to another with great agility(2).

Noisette the Squirrel, while jumping from branch to branch, asks:
« Hi Félix, hi Brindille! What are you doing here? »

Félix, curious, asks:
« It's great to see you, Noisette the Squirrel! We came to see the Great Wise Oak. Have you heard about a strange noise last night near the Tall Grass Maze? »

Noisette the Squirrel, curious, said: « Oh, you mean that noise? Yes, I heard something strange last night near the Tall Grass Maze. It was really weird, like scratching or rubbing. Do you think it could be an unknown animal? I even saw mysterious(3) footprints around the maze. Do you want to go and see together? »

Brindille, curious, exclaims:
« That’s interesting! Did you hear that noise, Noisette the Squirrel? And these footprints, they are really mysterious. We should go see that up close, what do you think? »

Noisette the Squirrel tells them about a strange noise heard at night near the Tall Grass Maze… The mystery of the footprints deepens!

The Mystery of the Tall Grass Maze

After hearing about the strange noise and mysterious footprints near the Tall Grass Maze, Félix and Brindille decided to explore this mystery more closely. Noisette the Squirrel suggested they meet the next day to explore this mystery more closely. This idea was accepted with excitement.

Félix, excited about this new adventure, says:
« See you tomorrow, Noisette the Squirrel! »

Brindille, with a mischievous smile, adds:
« Yes, see you tomorrow! »

Noisette the Squirrel, jumping from branch to branch, stops to say:
« I will see you at the foot of the Great Wise Oak. See you tomorrow! »

The next day, Félix and Brindille woke up early. They ran to the meeting spot. Noisette the Squirrel was already there, with a mischievous smile. She had a new adventure idea.

Noisette the Squirrel, with a determined look, then says: « Today, we are going to the base of the Great Wise Oak Tree. Last night, I heard a strange noise near the Tall Grass Maze. I think there is a mystery to solve(4). I am sure we will discover something incredible! »

Fascinated(5) by the mysteries of the Tall Grass Maze, Félix and Brindille won't really have time to think about the problem before their curiosity takes them on even more intriguing(6) adventures. However, before solving this mystery, they won't be able to stop thinking about the unexpected(7) incident that happened near Crystal River.
