Why are bees so important for nature?

The Golden Hive

Following the graceful movements of Poppy the butterfly, Félix the fox and Brindille the mouse discovered why butterflies love flowers so much. Poppy explained that flowers are not only beautiful but also full of nectar, essential food for butterflies. Fascinated‎ (1), they watched Poppy flit from flower to flower, adding splashes of color to the landscape. As they continued their walk through the Field of a Thousand Flowers, a joyful buzzing‎ (2) caught their attention. Intrigued, they decided to follow this mysterious‎ (3) sound, hoping to find a new adventure.

After walking a few meters, they arrived near a golden hive. The hive sparkled in the sun. Félix and Brindille carefully went closer, watching the bees flying around the hive. They saw bees going in and out of the hive, carrying colorful pollen.

Félix, amazed, says:
« Look, Brindille, the bees are very busy. »

Brindille, always curious, then adds:
« Yes, they collect nectar from the flowers. »

Miel the Bee, smiling, comes closer and says:
« Hello you two! Have you seen how beautiful our hive is? It shines under the sun, doesn't it? »

Félix, amazed, asks:
« Yes, it is beautiful. Why are bees so important? »

Miel the Bee, with a shining smile, explains:
« We make honey and pollinate flowers. This helps plants give fruits and seeds. »

Miel the Bee told them about a strange visitor seen near the Tall Grass Maze‎ (4). The investigation continues!

The Mystery Investigation

Félix and Brindille looked at each other, curious. They decided to go and take a closer look.

Félix, the clever fox, said then:
« Let's go see this visitor. Maybe he needs help. »

Brindille, after nodding her head, says:
« Okay, but let's be careful. The maze is big. »

After walking a few meters, they spotted a small figure. It was a brown mouse with long whiskers‎ (5) and ears always on alert. She seemed lost and tired. Félix and Brindille gently approached her. The mouse looked at them with shiny eyes.

Félix, with a reassuring smile, asks:
« Hello, do you need help? »

Brindille, with a reassuring smile, says:
« Yes, we can help you. Where do you want to go? »

The mystery of the little mouse solved, Félix and Brindille continue their journey. They follow a happy buzzing sound to a golden hive where the worker bees live.
