📝 Quick summary of key information
Why is Falko the Falcon flying so high in the sky?
Hawks are majestic birds that love to fly very high in the sky. They do this to spot their prey better. With their sharp eyes, they can see small animals, like mice or birds, from very high up.
Falcons often live in high places, like cliffs or very tall trees. They build their nests there and are usually alone, preferring to hunt by themselves.
These birds of prey eat other animals, like small mammals, other birds, and sometimes insects. They are true sky hunters.
To catch their food, falcons use an amazing trick: they dive down very fast, using their sharp claws to grab their meal.
Hawks play an important role in their environment. By controlling the population of certain species, like rodents, they help keep the ecosystem in balance.

Falko the Falcon and the Eye of the Sky
Why does the falcon fly so high in the sky?
The Falcon's Sharp Eye
After spending an educational evening with Hector the Hedgehog, learning how he eats at night, Félix and Brindille head towards the river, curious to find out what Falko the Falcon saw. The sun is just beginning to rise, and the dew (1) covers the tall grass of the meadow. Félix, with his bushy (2) tail twitching (3), and Brindille, with her long whiskers on alert, move forward carefully. Brindille climbs onto a wheat stalk (4) to get a better view of the surroundings. Suddenly, she spots a familiar shape (5) in the sky.
Brindille, excited, says:
« Look, Félix, Falko the Falcon. »
Félix, curious, asks:
« Yes, he flies high. What is he doing? »
Falko the Falcon, soaring majestically, says:
« I saw something moving near Crystal River. »
Félix, excited about a new adventure, says:
« Let's go see, Brindille. »
Brindille, with a mischievous smile, says:
« Okay, Félix. Let's go. »
Falko the Falcon tells them that he saw a strange movement near Crystal River... The mystery (6) is almost solved!
The Mystery Investigation
Félix and Brindille follow Falko the Falcon. They run fast. They want to see what he saw. Falko the Falcon flies very high. He sees everything below. He sees a shiny (7) object. It is near the river.
Félix, curious, asks:
« What is it, Falko the Falcon? »
Falko the Falcon, curious, says:
« I don’t know. It’s shiny. Let’s go see. »
Brindille, excited, says:
« Let's go quickly. I want to see. »
They arrive near the river. Falko the Falcon flies down. He sees better. It is a mirror. It is big and round. It shines in the sun. Falko the Falcon explains. He saw the mirror shining. He thought he saw a movement. It was the sun's reflection.
Félix, amazed, says:
« It's a mirror. It's beautiful. »
With eyes shining with curiosity, Félix the fox and Brindille the mouse exchange a secret look. They know that more mysteries await them in the meadow. Tomorrow, they will set off at dawn to discover what lies beyond the Crystal River. Who knows what new friends and adventures await them? Maybe they will find a hidden treasure or meet a mysterious animal. One thing is for sure, with Falko the Falcon by their side, they are ready to face all the adventures that come their way. The meadow of adventures is endless, and each day is a new chance to discover and learn.
