The Discovery of the Crystal Cave

After seeing Altan the Golden Eagle soar‎ (1) majestically‎ (2) above them, Lupo the young wolf and Mila the marmot are captivated‎ (3) by the grandeur of the magnificent bird. They wonder why the golden eagle flies so high before following new mysterious tracks to a hidden cave. Lupo, with his natural curiosity, and Mila, always ready to explore, decide to find out the origin of these footprints. They know that the mountains hold fascinating secrets and are determined to solve‎ (4) a new mystery.

Lupo, eyes shining with excitement, says:
« Look, Mila, these tracks lead to a cave. »

Mila, her eyes shining with curiosity, suggests:
« Let's go see what's inside. »

Not long after, they arrive at the entrance of the Crystal Cave. Inside, the light dances on the sparkling walls. The crystals, formed over thousands of years‎ (5) by minerals dissolved in water, create a mesmerizing‎ (6) show. Lupo and Mila, amazed, wonder what could possibly create such magic. They move forward carefully, their eyes adjusting to the dim light‎ (7).

Lupo, amazed, says:
« It's wonderful here! »

Mila, always careful, says:
« Yes, but watch where you step. »

They finally find out who made the mysterious footprints… An old sleeping bear who just woke up from hibernation! The mystery is solved, but more adventures await them.

Toby the Bear's Wisdom

Lupo and Mila quietly walk up to Toby the bear. They want to learn more about him.

Lupo, curious, asks:
« Hello, who are you? »

Mila, curious, asks:
« Why are you sleeping here? »

Toby the bear opens one eye and looks at them kindly. He slowly sits up.

I am Toby the bear. I live here. I sleep in this cave during winter. It is my shelter.

Lupo, curious, asks:
« Did you make the cave shine? »

Mila, amazed, explains:
« The crystals shine because the light bounces off them. »

After meeting Toby the bear, Lupo and Mila are excited to discover more secrets of the mountain. They head to a green valley, where they spot Toby sniffing the ground for food. The two friends watch how his sense of smell and agility make him a great explorer. They soon understand why bears are such great explorers in these mysterious lands. Toby also tells them about their next adventure at the Lake of Silence, where they can watch the stars and maybe even discover new mysteries hidden in the depths of the water. Excited by this prospect, Lupo and Mila are already getting ready for their next expedition, eager to discover even more wonders in the mountains.
