After watching Hector the Heron, still‎ (1) near the Secret Rock, Timon the toad and Lila the dragonfly understand that his patience is a valuable lesson for catching prey. As they look at the calm waters, they remember the importance of waiting and being quiet‎ (2). Timon, with his big brown eyes, looks at the horizon‎ (3), while Lila, with her shimmering wings, gracefully hovers above the water. Curious‎ (4) about the night sounds, they decide to go back to the Lily Pad Pond to find out where they come from.

Timon, curious, says:
« Listen, Lila, the frogs are singing loudly. »

« Yes, Timon. Look, they are on the lily pads. »

Timon, fascinated by the melodies, then explains:
« Each type of frog has a special song. »

Lila, curious about the night sounds, then explains: « You know, Timon, frogs sing mostly to attract a partner‎ (5) or mark their territory. It's fascinating to listen to their different melodies! »

While listening to the songs, Timon and Lila find out that the frogs sing louder at night. This way, they avoid predators and are heard better. Suddenly, Timon notices ripples‎ (6) under the lily pads' roots. Curious, Lila decides to dig deeper.

Listening to the echoes of the night, they finally discover the creator of the mysterious ripples... a huge Bobby the catfish hiding under the roots!

The Surprising Discovery

Timon, with endless‎ (7) curiosity, dives under the lily pads, closely followed by Lila who dances above the water. They discover a giant catfish, Bobby, hiding in the depths. Bobby, with his smooth and silvery skin, glowing eyes, and long sensitive whiskers, watches them calmly.

« Why are you hiding, Bobby the catfish? »

Bobby the catfish, in a calm and deep voice, explains:
« The ripples are my movements. I catch prey. »

Bobby the catfish, with a deep and mysterious voice, explains:
« The frogs croak loudly to signal my presence. »

Lila, while dancing over the water, says:

After finding out who made the mysterious ripples, Timon and Lila listen to Bobby the catfish's stories. They are fascinated by his tales and wise advice. Curious about his movements, they watch Bobby the catfish dip his snout into the water, letting his whiskers sense the smallest movements. They wonder why catfish do this and decide to find out together. With a new adventure ahead, they fly and hop towards new discoveries, ready to solve the mysteries of the Wondrous Marsh.
