The Mysterious Melody
After learning how worms, like Leo, make the soil airy and fertile (1), Milo and Noa feel ready to explore more mysteries (2) of the Underground Kingdom. As night falls, they get ready to uncover new secrets beneath the surface. Milo, with her strong (3) legs, digs a new tunnel, while Noa, carefully, follows close behind, his golden spikes shining in the dim light of the glowing mushrooms.
Milo, curious, asks Noa:
« Noa, do you hear that soft song? »
Noa, after listening carefully, says:
« Yes, Milo. We must follow the melody. »
Milo, determined, says:
« I dig faster. You, be careful. »
Noa, always on guard, whispers:
« I curl up in a ball. You never know. »
After a few minutes, they meet Gaspard the Cricket, who shows them an ancient carved (4) rock... Another clue to the hidden treasure!
The Secrets of the Night
Gaspard the Cricket shows them the carved rock. The carvings glow in the soft light of the mushrooms. Milo and Noa come closer to see better.
Milo, curious, asks:
« What are these drawings, Gaspard the Cricket? »
Gaspard the Cricket, after looking at the carved rock, explains: « These are old symbols (5). They tell about the hidden treasure. »
Noa, curious, asks:
« That's interesting, but how do you know these symbols talk about the hidden treasure? »
Gaspard the Cricket, eyes sparkling, begins to explain: « Oh, these symbols are fascinating (6), aren't they? You know, crickets like me have an amazing memory for old stories. We often sing them, especially at night. That's how I learned about the hidden treasure. The symbols on this rock tell part of that story. They talk about secret places and buried (7) treasures. It's thanks to our songs that these legends pass from one generation to the next. »
The rock is gently uncovered by Milo, while Noa carefully examines the details of the carvings. Together, they find hidden clues that seem to match the stories of Gaspard the Cricket. The ancient symbols start to reveal their secrets, guiding the friends to new leads about the hidden treasure. The nightly songs of Gaspard the Cricket still echo in their minds, encouraging them to continue their quest.
Milo and Noa are curious about Gaspard the Cricket's song and the clue carved on the old rock. Their journey takes them to a big tunnel, where the carved symbols seem to guide them to new discoveries. The friends learn that every resident of the Underground Kingdom has an important role to play in keeping nature balanced. With their new knowledge, they are ready to face new adventures and discover even more mysteries beneath the surface.
