📝 Quick summary of key information
Why is it important to exercise regularly?
Exercise is when we move our bodies in an active way, like running, jumping, or playing games outside. It's like a dance with life, where every movement counts!
Doing exercise regularly helps our body become stronger and more resilient. This means we can run faster, jump higher, and have more energy to play with our friends.
Exercise also helps to keep a healthy weight, which is important to stay healthy. By moving, we burn calories and avoid gaining too much weight, like a balloon that deflates.
When we exercise, we can prevent some illnesses, like heart problems or being overweight. There are lots of fun activities for kids, like soccer, dancing, or even a simple game of hide and seek!

The Big Animal Race
Why is it important to exercise regularly?
Getting Ready for the Race
After listening to the flowers talk about their dreams and their communication (1) with insects, Little Pig and Chevrette, the curious little goat, decide to head towards the farm. They are amazed (2) by what they have learned and promise to observe nature around them more closely. On the way, Chevrette, full of energy, suggests an idea that makes Little Pig's eyes sparkle. She wants to organize a big race where each animal will show their talents. Little Pig eagerly agrees, always ready for an adventure. Together, they decide to head to the barn to announce their plan.
Little Pig, all excited, says:
« Great idea, Chevrette! Let's go quickly to the barn. »
Chevrette, full of excitement, says:
« Yes, Little Pig! We are going to draw a course with obstacles. »
Once they arrived at the barn, Little Pig and Chevrette started to prepare the race. They drew a course with fun obstacles and different challenges. Chevrette, with her boundless (3) energy, climbed onto the hay bales to announce the news to all the farm animals.
Chevrette, full of excitement, says:
« Dear friends, come quickly! We're having a race! »
Little Pig, very excited, says:
« Yes, all animals can join in! »
The animals, excited, gather to listen to the rules of the race. Little Pig, with his little straw hat, explains that exercise strengthens the muscles and improves blood flow (4) (5). Chevrette, with her red scarf, adds that it also helps to breathe better and to keep a good mood. Soon after, all the animals get into their starting positions, ready to show their talents. The friends discover that doing exercise regularly is essential to stay healthy and fit. Little Pig and Chevrette are about to discover a new, unexpected adventure.
The Race and Discoveries
The race begins with the cheers of the friends. Each animal shows their talents. The rabbit jumps over the obstacles. The fox runs fast. The turtle, with her patience, finds shortcuts. Little Pig, with his curly tail, rolls in the mud to go faster.
Chevrette, full of energy, says:
« Look, Little Pig! I'm climbing on the rocks to see if I can find a better path. It seems like the race has lots of surprises! »
Little Pig, very excited, says:
« Great, Chevrette! We can see the whole course. »
During the race, it is discovered that exercise strengthens the body and improves health. It helps to keep a healthy weight and prevent illnesses. The friends run, jump, and climb with joy, while learning the importance of regular exercise.
Chevrette, full of energy, says:
« Look, you're doing great in the mud, Little Pig! It seems like you've found a good pace. You see, doing exercise, even in the mud, is fun and good for your health! »
Little Pig, while running, says:
« Thanks, Chevrette! And you climb so well. »
The race ends in Rainbow Meadow. Butterflies dance and flowers clap. Friends gather to share their thoughts. They realize that exercise helped them discover their abilities (6) and have fun together. As the sun set, stars began to twinkle (7) in the sky. Friends gathered to share their laughter and memories of the day. They promise to keep organizing activities to stay fit and healthy. Chevrette, with her contagious energy, already has a new idea for the next adventure. Little Pig, with his enthusiasm, agrees without hesitation. Together, they head to the barn, ready to discover new wonders and have new adventures. Maybe one day, they will explore Happy Stream or the Enchanted Garden. Who knows what tomorrow will bring?
