📝 Quick summary of key information
How do actors turn words into feelings?
An actor is a person who plays a part in a play, a movie, or a TV show. He or she becomes a different character to tell a story and make the audience feel emotions.
Actors use their bodies to show their character's feelings. They move, gesture, and make facial expressions. For example, an actor can smile to show happiness or frown to show anger.
Actors also use their voices in different ways. They change the tone, the volume, and the speed of their voice to show feelings like happiness, sadness, or anger. For example, a soft voice can show kindness, while a loud voice can show anger.
Before a show, actors warm up to get ready physically and mentally. This helps them play their roles with honesty and accuracy. Practicing before a show is also very important. It helps actors remember their lines and work together to make the show the best it can be.

Actors, Mirrors of Emotions
How do actors turn words into feelings?
Backstage of the Heart
After leaving the Kingdom of Shakespeare, where they discovered the timeless (1) plays of this great English writer, Léo and Mina find themselves in an even more fascinating (2) world: the Great Enchanted Theater. Behind a big red curtain, a magical universe opens up to them. Léo, with his theater hat and golden sparkly jacket, is as expressive and curious as ever. Mina, in her starry tutu and shiny ribbons, is ready to dance and play the harp. They have already met unforgettable (3) characters and learned that every play tells a unique story, full of lessons and surprises. Today, they will discover how actors (4) turn words into emotions.
Backstage at the Heart, Léo and Mina watch the actors. The actors use their bodies, their voices, and their imagination. Some sing soft tunes to relax. Others make funny faces or do silly stretches to warm up (5) their muscles.
Léo, amazed, says:
« Look, Mina, the dancers are hopping and spinning around. »
Mina, her eyes sparkling with curiosity, says:
« I want to see the actors practice their lines. »
Soon after, an old mirror lights up. It shows Mina her own reflection playing a part. It's a clue: The Perfect Role starts in the heart of every actor.
Léo, amazed, shouts:
« Mina, your reflection comes to life! »
Mina, curious about the reflection, says:
« Léo, come closer to the mirror. »
Léo, curious, walks up to the mirror. He sees his reflection, copying the actors' movements. The two children understand that the magic of theater comes from the ability to turn words into lively emotions.
Children are told that actors use their bodies, voices, and imagination to bring a character to life on stage. Before each show, they warm up and practice to express emotions honestly (6) and accurately (7). After learning this secret, Léo and Mina are told that they are getting ready for a new adventure.
The Magic of Feelings
Léo and Mina decide to explore the stage more. They try to understand how actors use their bodies and voices to create feelings.
Mina, amazed, says:
« Léo, look at this actress. She moves so well. »
Léo, amazed, shouts:
« Yes, and this actor changes his voice. It's magical. »
Mina, eyes sparkling, says:
« I want to try and do like them. »
Léo, eager to start, says:
« Me too. What do we start with? »
As Léo and Mina watch the actors getting ready, soft and rhythmic words are heard. Curious, they follow the sound to a stage where dancing shadows come to life. On this enchanted stage, a butterfly with shimmering wings, named Luna, is seen guiding the children to dance with glowing ribbons, turning words into graceful movements. Léo and Mina understand that the magic of theater lies in the ability to touch hearts and stir emotions. An old mirror lights up and shows Mina her own reflection playing a role. It's a clue: the Perfect Role begins in the heart of every actor. Léo and Mina leave the Heart's Backstage, with light hearts and minds full of new discoveries. Their next adventure will take them to another fascinating world, where they will discover even more secrets and wonders.
