📝 Quick summary of key information

How can poems dance on stage?

Poetry is like a beautiful story or a feeling nicely written. It uses magical words to tell adventures or share emotions. It's a bit like a drawing with words!

Poems can become a live show with gestures and movements. Imagine words dancing and jumping on stage! Actors can move while they speak, making the story even more alive.

Dancers use their bodies to tell stories without talking. They jump, spin, and raise their arms to show feelings like happiness or sadness. It's like their bodies talk instead of words.

Seeing poems come to life on stage is fun because it makes stories more exciting. Kids can see the feelings of the characters in a visual way, as if the words come to life right before their eyes.

The Dance of Worms and Gestures

How can poems dance on stage?

Moving Poems

After watching the actors backstage(1) at the Heart's Backstage, Léo and Mina wonder how feelings can be shown in many ways. As they leave backstage, a small white rabbit leads them to the Dancing Shadows Stage, where the magic continues. Léo and Mina then discover a mysterious place where bodies tell stories without words, through glowing and poetic dances. Curious, they decide to find out how poems can dance on stage.

Léo, amazed, says:
« Look Mina, these glowing ribbons. »

Mina, amazed, says: « Yes, they move with an invisible trick(2). »

Leo, with a mischievous smile, suggests:
« Let's try playing with it. »

After taking the ribbons, Léo and Mina, dressed in their starry tutus with shiny ribbons in their hair, start to move. They play poems with their arms and legs. They discover that poetry can be recited with gestures and movements. A giant shadow then appears. It shows them a forgotten dance step. Léo and Mina write down this step in their notebook. This gesture is a key: The Perfect Role speaks with the body too.

Léo, determined, says:
« I will try to do like the shadow. »

Mina, with a big smile, adds:
« And I will add dance steps. »

Léo, with his theater hat and sparkly jacket, copies the shadow's movements. Mina, with her starry tutu, adds graceful(3) dance steps. They realize that every gesture tells a story and that feelings can be shown without words. They keep on dancing together.

The Magic of Movements

Léo and Mina keep dancing together. They make up new moves. Léo jumps, Mina spins around. They laugh a lot. They have lots of fun.

Léo, very excited, says:
« Look, Mina, I'm jumping. »

Mina, with a big smile, says:
« And I spin around. »

Léo, while jumping around, says:
« Let's dance together. »

Mina, with a big smile, says:
« Yes, we dance together. »

A giant shadow shows them a forgotten dance step, which they write down in their notebook. This move is a key: The Perfect Role speaks with the body too. They keep on dancing together.

Intrigued by this new discovery, Léo and Mina head to the Practice(4) Garden. There, an old owl perched on a branch tells them that plants and stones have an important role in preparing for a show. They whisper lines(5) and keep the beat(6) to help the artists practice. Léo and Mina understand that every element of nature can be used to make a show better. They promise to come back soon to discover more theater secrets. With a smile, they get ready for their next adventure, eager to explore new magical worlds.
