📝 Quick summary of key information
What if we celebrate all the words you have made up?
A book festival is an event where people come together to share stories, poems, and tales. It's a time of joy and creativity where everyone can express themselves freely.
Sharing stories helps inspire others and shows how special everyone's imagination is. At a book festival, you can hear made-up stories, funny poems, and magical tales.
It's also a chance to celebrate the words made up by children. By using these words in stories or poems, we can share them with others and make the festival even more special.
Joining a book festival is fun because it is a time of joy and creativity where everyone can express themselves freely. It is a place where words come to life and where imagination has no limits.

The Big Feather Festival
What if we celebrate all the words you made up?
The Festival Preparation
After writing sentences (1) on an enchanted (2) stage, Éline and Jasper saw the words dance, sing, and shine like stars. They even met a little fox who guided them through the backstage (3) of the word theater, revealing how every story can turn into a magical show (4). Soon after, Éline and Jasper decided to celebrate all the stories they had created together. They decided to organize a big festival of feathers, where they would invite all the characters and writers they had met during their adventures.
To prepare for this big event, Éline and Jasper go to the Never-Ending Library. Each book leads to a different world. They look for ideas to decorate the Famous Feathers Lounge and plan fun activities.
Jasper, eyes shining with excitement, suggests:
« We can have a poetry contest. »
Éline, her eyes shining with excitement, suggests: « That’s a great idea. I suggest we put on a show with parts from famous fairy tales (5). »
They then write magical invitations. The enchanted feathers deliver the letters to the characters from the worlds they have visited. The letters fly through the pages of the books and reach their recipients, who are happy about the invitation.
Meanwhile, Éline and Jasper are preparing costumes and accessories for the big day. They make flower crowns for the poets, capes for the heroes, and masks for the mysterious characters. They also create colorful posters (6) to announce the different activities of the festival.
Once everything is ready, they go to the Theater of Words. A big enchanted stage awaits them. Words dance and sing, ready to come to life for the show. They present their stories, fables, and poems, and receive a final shiny feather: the feather of Free Imagination.
The Big Festival
The Theatre of Words lights up. Words dance and sing, ready to come to life. Éline and Jasper go on stage. They present their stories, fables, and poems. La Fontaine, Hugo, and Shakespeare join them. All the guests clap their hands.
Jasper, with a big, happy smile, says:
« It's our turn. »
Éline, her heart pounding with excitement, takes the floor: « It is with great joy that we are going to share our stories with all of you. We have worked hard to offer you tales, fables, and poems that, we hope, will enchant (7) you. »
Éline reads a poem about the stars. Jasper acts out a heroic adventure. The audience laughs and claps. They are amazed by the magic of words. The poetry contest begins. The participants recite their verses with passion.
Jasper, curious, then asks:
« Who will be the winner? »
Éline, with a smile full of hope, says:
« We are eagerly waiting for the judges' decision, which should not be long now. Who knows, maybe one of you will be awarded the prize for the best poetic creation? »
The judges, enchanted feathers, choose the winners. They make their feathers glow in different ways. The festival ends with a big dance. All the guests join in to celebrate the magic of writing. A shiny feather appears in front of Éline and Jasper. It is the feather of Free Imagination.
With their new shiny feather, Éline and Jasper promise to keep exploring the worlds of imagination. They know that every word they write can take them on new adventures, maybe even to a world filled with dragons and unicorns. They close their storybook, ready to write their next chapter, where imagination will have no limits. But for now, they enjoy this moment of magic and sharing, knowing that new stories are already waiting for them in the pages of their books.
