📝 Quick summary of key information

How can a painting tell you a story?

A painting is a picture made on canvas or another surface. Artists use brushes and colors to create magical worlds and fascinating characters.

Artists use lines to draw the outlines of objects and characters. Colors add life and emotion to pictures, while shapes give volume and depth to images.

Some pictures seem alive because they show characters moving or changing landscapes. They can tell stories, memories, or feelings, like a book without words.

It's important to look at pictures carefully to find details and understand the story the artist wants to tell. Every brushstroke has a meaning and every color has a feeling.

How can a painting tell you a story?

The Hall of Living Paintings

After discovering the Secret Workshop(1), Lina and Hugo touched a huge(2) magical canvas(3) in the museum's attic. In the blink of an eye, they were surrounded by enchanted brushes glowing like fireflies, ready to take them to unknown worlds. A curious gray cat watches them from afar, as if it has been waiting for them. Lina, with her blue beret(4) and paint-splattered shirt, and Hugo, with his colorful(5) jacket and round glasses, look at each other, amazed. They know that each brushstroke will take them on a new adventure.

Lina, amazed, exclaims:
« It's magical! »

Hugo, with sparkling eyes, asks:
« Yes! Where are we going today? »

Soon after, they enter a long hallway. The pictures on the walls seem alive. The characters move. The landscapes change. A knight greets them. A forest invites them in. A cat winks at them.

Lina, amazed, shouts:
« Look, Hugo! The paintings are moving! »

Hugo, amazed, shouts:
« This is amazing! »

A painting makes them dance with the shapes, then it gives them a clue: 'Every brushstroke is a story...

The Secrets of Colors and Shapes

The narrator says that Lina and Hugo think about the clue they received. Each brushstroke is a story. We see them looking at the paintings around them, trying to understand the secrets(6) each one holds.

Lina, intrigued, turns to Hugo and says:
« Look Hugo, these straight lines. They bring stability. »

Hugo, after looking at the shapes, says:
« And these curves? They make things move. »

Lina, after looking at the pictures, says:
« Yes, and warm colors bring energy. Cool colors bring calm. »

Hugo, with a mischievous smile, says:
« Now that we have talked about lines, curves, and colors, I am going to mix some colors. Let's see what happens. »

Hugo picks unexpected colors. He mixes blue and orange. A new magical color appears. The paintings react. Shapes change. Characters move.

Lina, looking closely at the paintings, says:
« Hugo, these shapes keep coming back. They make a connection between the paintings. »

Hugo, fascinated, whispers:
« That's right. Each picture tells part of the story. »

Curious about this new clue, Lina and Hugo decide to continue their exploration. They choose a brush with shiny(7) colors and, with a magical stroke, they find themselves in an enchanting garden. They will discover Monet's Garden, where the flowers change color with the light, and they will meet a majestic swan that will guide them through this natural spectacle. They know that each brushstroke takes them further in their quest to understand the stories hidden in the paintings. Their adventure continues, full of colors and mysteries to discover.
