📝 Quick summary of key information
Why does every house have a different style in this magical village?
An art style is a special way to draw or paint. Artists use different styles to show the world as they see it. For example, cubism cuts objects into pieces, while impressionism uses bright colors and light brushstrokes.
Artists pick shapes, lines, and colors that change with their feelings or imagination. Sometimes, they use geometric shapes. Other times, they like curved lines and soft colors. This makes every piece of art unique and special.
In this magical village, every house is inspired by a different art style. Some houses have cube shapes and bright colors, like in cubism. Others have pastel colors and soft lines, like in impressionism. This makes the village very colorful and full of surprises!
Every house has a different style to show the creativity and imagination of the artists. That's what makes this magical village so special and unique in the world.

The City of Colors
Why does every house have a different style in this magical village?
The Mysterious Styles
After admiring the lively faces on Portrait Square, Lina, with her blue beret, a shirt covered in paint splatters, and a magical wooden palette (1) attached to her bag, and Hugo, with his multicolored jacket, round glasses splattered with paint, and a giant paintbrush hanging on his back, realize that every detail of the painting tells a story. A red fox, amazed by the canvases, invites them to discover a village where every house is a unique work of art. Intrigued, the two children follow the red fox to a colorful and vibrant village. Upon their arrival, they are greeted by Cat Picasson, who has been eagerly waiting for them. Cat Picasson, with his soft and multicolored fur, speckled with paint in all the colors of the rainbow, bright blue eyes, a small beret, and an artist's apron around his neck, guides them through the cobblestone streets of the City (2) of Colors, where every house is painted in a different style.
Cat Picasson, with a mysterious smile, starts to explain:
« Look at these houses. They tell different stories. »
Lina, curious, asks:
« Why does each house have a different style? »
Hugo, curious, asks:
« Yes, how does each style tell a story? »
Cat Picasson, with his shiny eyes, starts to explain: « The cubist (3) houses show geometric shapes. They show reality from many angles at once. The impressionist (4) houses capture the reflections of light. They show the feelings of the moment. The surrealist houses invite you to explore imagination. They have floating objects and dreamy (5) landscapes. »
Soon after, Lina and Hugo decide to explore the secrets of each style. They start with the cubist house. The geometric shapes seem to move before their eyes. Next, they go to the impressionist house. The colors change with the daylight. Finally, they visit the surrealist house. A living painting shows objects floating in the sky.
After exploring the different houses, Lina and Hugo are amazed by so much creativity. That's when a colorful cat, Cat Picasson, appears and leads them to a rainbow key hidden in a wall mural (6). This key, once found, is shown to them as opening the door to the freedom to create as they wish.
The Rainbow Key
After being guided by Cat Picasson, Lina and Hugo look closely at the wall painting. The cat points to a painting of colorful flowers. Behind this painting, they find a rainbow key, just like Cat Picasson had described.
Lina, amazed, whispers:
« This key is magical. »
Hugo, amazed, says:
« Yes, it shines like a rainbow. »
Cat Picasson, with a mischievous smile, starts to explain:
« Each color stands for a different art style. Red is for lively portraits. Blue is for magical landscapes. Green is for surreal scenes. »
Lina and Hugo turn the key. A magic door opens. They enter a world of colors. They can paint and create freely.
Lina, her eyes shining with excitement, says:
« I want to paint magical flowers. »
Hugo, excited, shouts:
« And I want fantastic animals. »
Cat Picasson, with an encouraging smile, says:
« Explore your imagination. Let your creativity run wild. »
Lina, with her blue beret, a paint-splattered shirt, and a magical wooden palette hanging from her bag, and Hugo, with his multicolored jacket, round glasses splattered with paint, and a giant paintbrush hanging from his back, are amazed by the colors and different styles of the village. They follow Cat Picasson to a vibrant tent. Inside, they find a world of bright flowers and magical mirrors. A gentle doe greets them and begins to tell the story of Frida Kahlo, a brave-hearted artist whose paintings tell stories without words. Intrigued, the children get ready to discover the secrets of this fascinating artist, eager to live a new adventure full of colors and magic.
