The Great Symphony

What does the music of the whole Earth sound like?

The Shiny Mountain

In the heart of the dance, Soléa and Brume saw the deer, the birds, and the butterflies whirling(1) in harmony(2). The leaves on the trees changed color, and the clouds drew seasonal(3) patterns. Every movement, every sound, every color tells a different story, announcing the start of a new cycle. Soléa, with her golden figure and sunbeam hair, and Brume, the misty(4) spirit with silver and frost reflections(5), stand side by side, ready to discover the secrets of this natural symphony.

Soléa, amazed, watches nature and says:
« Look, the first leaves are starting to fall gently, carried by the soft wind. Brume, do you feel that coolness in the air? Winter is coming, and with it, the magic of snow and silence. »

Brume, with a soft and gentle voice, suggests:
« Let's go see the Great Symphony. »

Soléa, with a radiant smile, says:
« Yes, let's go to the top of the Shiny Mountain. »

After climbing the mountain, they raise their conductor's batons. Soléa makes the days shine and pushes the plants to grow. Brume whispers the first rains and draws snowflakes in the sky. The wind blows, the snowflakes fall, and the flowers open in rhythm. The whole Earth echoes.

Brume, furrowing his eyebrows slightly, whispers: « Some sounds seem out of tune(6). »

Soléa, curious, then suggests:
« Let's go down and find out what's happening. »

The whole Earth hums: it's the Great Symphony. A magical melody that only those who love nature can truly hear. Soléa and Brume start their descent, curious about the off-key sounds.

The Unharmonious Melody

Soléa and Brume go down the mountain. The forest is quiet. Leaves crunch under Soléa's feet. Birds sing less. Streams flow gently. Something is disturbing the harmony. Soléa's golden figure shines in the forest, lighting up the leaves and the streams.

Soléa, curious, says:
« Brume, listen. The sounds are not like usual. »

Brume, in a calm and steady voice, says:
« You are right. Let's go see what's happening. »

After a long walk, a small pond is found. Fish swim quickly in it. The water(7) is clear. The water plants are green. Soléa watches the scene carefully, trying to understand what is disturbing the harmony of nature.

Soléa, looking up at the sky, says:
« Brume, the wind is cool. The clouds are dancing. »

Brume, in a soothing voice, says:
« I will calm the fish. You, clean the water. »

Next, the pond is cleaned. The trash is removed and plants are replanted. The water becomes clear again. The fish find their peace. The forest starts to find its melody. As the Great Symphony still rings, Soléa and Brume know that their adventure is just beginning. Next spring, their footsteps will be followed by those of a migratory bird, the wheatear, to discover new nature secrets. What magical melodies await them?
