📝 Quick summary of key information
Where do all the water droplets go at the end of their journey?
Rivers, these long water snakes, travel through mountains and valleys. At the end of their journey, they flow into the big oceans, like children coming home after a long day of play.
Once in the ocean, the water gathers and waits patiently. It is part of a big pool that helps to control the weather and life on Earth. It is like a big library where the water rests before going on a trip.
Water doesn't stay in one place for long. It evaporates, goes up into the sky, and forms clouds. Then it falls back down as rain or snow, starting its cycle all over again. It's like a big game of hide-and-seek between the sky and the Earth.
The water cycle is very important. It helps to spread water all over the planet, making it possible for plants, animals, and humans to live. Without this cycle, Earth would be very different and much less welcoming.

The Ocean of Meetings
Where do all the water droplets go at the end of their journey?
Arrival in the Ocean of Meetings
Carried by the waves, Plim and Plam have traveled through secret tunnels and shiny (1) caves where they met curious fish and sparkling (2) seaweed. They followed the calm twists and turns of the river, discovering hidden secrets and enchanting landscapes. Soon after, they spot a huge, sparkling blue expanse under the sun. Plim and Plam, curious and happy, wonder what awaits them in this mysterious ocean.
Plim, amazed, exclaims:
« It's so big, Plam! »
Plam, full of excitement, says:
« Yes, Plim! This is the Ocean of Meetings! »
Plim, curious, asks:
« How will we go back to the sky? »
Plam, full of ideas, then says:
« I am going to invent games and songs to celebrate our arrival. »
After admiring the ocean, a giant shiny droplet appears in front of them. It is Queen Nerea, the guardian of the oceans and rivers. She warmly welcomes them and explains that the ocean is a vast water reservoir (3).
After being welcomed by Queen Nerea (giant droplet), Plim and Plam are invited to celebrate their journey in the Ocean of Meetings. They are surrounded by water droplets that laugh, sing, and sparkle, ready to evaporate again. The adventure never ends in this magical ocean, where every droplet is ready to start new adventures.
The Never-Ending Water Cycle
After celebrating their adventure in the Ocean of Reunions, Plim and Plam are ready to evaporate. They feel ready to go back to the sky, but before leaving, they want to learn more about the ocean's role.
Plim, curious, asks then:
« Why is the ocean so important? »
Plam, curious, asks then:
« Yes, how does it help plants and animals? »
Queen Nerea tells them how the ocean's water feeds plants and animals. She explains that the ocean helps to control (4) the Earth's temperature.
Plim, curious, asks: « What are sea (5) currents (6)? »
Plam, curious, asks:
« And the tides, how do they work? »
Plim and Plam see that the ocean currents bring important things for the fish and the sea plants. Queen Nerea tells them that tides are caused by the Moon. They find this super interesting!
After celebrating their adventure in the Ocean of Reunions, Plim and Plam are lifted by the sun's warmth and rise back into the sky. They think about everything they have learned, from ocean currents to tides, and get ready to discover new landscapes and animals like birds and fish. Their journey continues, and they know that every droplet has an important role to play in this endless cycle. They can't wait to share their discoveries with other droplets and keep exploring the wonders of nature. Their next adventure is already waiting, full of surprises and new things to learn.
