📝 Quick summary of key information
How does the rain that we feel falling on our cheeks come to be?
Evaporation is when the sun heats up the water in rivers, lakes, and oceans. The water turns into vapor, like invisible smoke that goes up into the sky.
This water vapor goes up high in the sky and cools down. It turns into tiny water droplets that come together to form clouds. It's like the water vapor is having a big party in the sky!
When the water drops in the clouds get too heavy, they fall to the Earth as rain. It's like the clouds are sharing their water with us!
The water cycle is an amazing journey. Water evaporates, forms clouds, falls as rain, and returns to rivers and oceans. This cycle is very important because it helps plants grow, rivers flow, and land stay fertile.

The Rain Path
How does the rain that we feel falling on our cheeks come to be?
The Climb to the Skies
After discovering the colorful spirits of the Climate Sanctuary, Naya and Sohan watched the water whirlpools, the wind breezes, and the dance of light. A little dragonfly with shimmering wings guided them to a path of steam. This airy (1) path was walked by the two children, ready to discover new nature secrets. Naya, with her curly hair tied in leaves, wore a cape made of water drops and soft bark (2) boots. Sohan, on the other hand, had a jacket the color of the ocean, a belt full of little weather (3) tools, and a magic compass around his neck. Soon after, Sohan noticed singing water drops in the sky. Naya decided to follow them.
Naya, curious about the singing drops, asks:
« Where are we going? »
Nuagie the Cloud, with a cheeky smile, comes closer and says:
« Come with me, I am Nuagie the Cloud. I will show you the way to the skies. You followed the singing water drops well, now let me guide you. »
Naya, with a confident smile, says:
« Okay. Let's go. »
After following singing drops in the sky, Naya flew up into the sky. She watched the water drops form and turn into clouds. A cloud shaped like a smile explained that every drop of water has a story to tell. Together, they saw the water vapor rise in the air and cool down. Once the water drops come together, they become heavy enough to fall as rain. Naya was amazed by this natural show.
Naya, amazed, says:
« It's magical! »
Nuagie the Cloud, with a bright smile, explains: « This is the water cycle (4). »
A cloud shaped like a smile gave Naya a shiny water droplet: the symbol of respect for the water cycle. Naya looked at the droplet with amazement. She understood the importance of this natural cycle. Suddenly, a lightning bolt lit up the sky, announcing a new adventure.
The Water Cycle
Naya watched the lightning. She felt a new energy. She understood it was time to share her discovery. She came down from the sky. She ran to Sohan.
Naya, excited, tells Sohan:
« Sohan, I saw water drops turn into clouds. They fall back as rain. »
Sohan, eyes wide open, exclaims:
« It's amazing! »
Naya, eyes sparkling, says:
« I want to discover the secrets of the seas. Like the clouds, they have mysteries. »
Sohan, excited, suggests:
« Let's go see. Together, we will find the answers. »
After receiving the water pearl, Naya is joined by Sohan. Together, they are amazed by the mysteries of the seas, just like those of the clouds. Their curiosity pushes them to explore more. They then descend from the sky and are plunged into a moving water tunnel. Colorful fish accompany them to the heart of the warm and cold currents, revealing the secrets of the endless (5) movements of the seas. Nuagie the Cloud, always present, explains how ocean currents influence the climate and marine life. The children are amazed by the complexity of the oceans and how they interact (6) with the atmosphere (7). After this adventure, Naya and Sohan better understand the importance of the water cycle and ocean currents. They now know that every drop of water and every current plays a crucial role in the balance of the Earth. Their next adventure will take them to the Mountain of Winds, where they will discover the mysteries of the winds and their directions.
