📝 Quick summary of key information
Why do the seas keep moving all the time?
Ocean currents are like rivers in the ocean. They carry water from one place to another, just like rivers on land.
These currents are very important because they carry heat in the oceans. This affects the climate of the continents, a bit like a blanket that warms you up.
What makes ocean currents move is the water temperature, the saltiness, which is the salt in the water, and the surface winds.
Surface winds push the water and create currents, like a gust of wind that makes leaves move.

The Wave of Ocean Currents
Why do the seas keep moving?
Diving into the Depths
After watching water drops turn into fluffy clouds, Naya, amazed, waves at a majestic albatross (1) flying by her side, before heading back down to Earth. Meanwhile, Sohan, curious about the mysteries (2) of the oceans, dives into a moving (3) water tunnel. He is joined by colorful fish that guide him through warm and cold currents. Sohan wears a ocean-colored jacket, a belt full of small weather (4) tools, and a magical compass around his neck. Naya, curious, decides to join Sohan to discover the secrets of the ocean currents together.
Naya, worried, calls:
« Sohan, where are you? »
Sohan, amazed by the colorful fish, says:
« I am here, Naya! Come see the colorful fish! »
Naya, amazed, says:
« It's wonderful! What are they doing? »
Sohan, amazed, says:
« Look, they are guiding us to the secret corners of the depths! »
Naya, amazed, says: « Look! A shiny jellyfish (5)! »
Sohan, amazed, shouts:
« She brings us a gift! »
A shiny jellyfish gives him a sea spiral (6): it shows the invisible power that connects all the oceans in the world.
The Sea Spiral
Sohan takes the sea spiral. He admires its changing colors. The spiral glows in the light of the deep sea.
Naya, amazed, says:
« It's beautiful! What do we do now? »
Sohan, excited, says:
« Let's explore more! Follow the currents. »
Naya, excited, shouts:
« Yes! Let's go see the migrating fish. »
Suddenly, they are swept away by an unexpected whirlpool. They find themselves in a mysterious zone, where warm and cold currents mix. They must use their knowledge and courage to navigate this new watery world.
Naya, curious, asks:
« What are we doing? »
Sohan, determined, says:
« We must find a path. Let's follow the currents. »
After overcoming the whirlpool, Sohan emerges into a calm and bright area. He thanks Mila the Jellyfish, with her glowing, shimmering (7) skin and colorful, waving tentacles, for her helpful aid. On the surface, Naya waits for Sohan, curious about the mysteries of the depths. Suddenly, a white seagull with sharp eyes lands near her. The winds know things that the water doesn't, she says before taking off. Sohan and Naya must now climb the heights to listen to the wind's secrets and discover how the winds affect the ocean currents. Their next adventure will take them to the Mountain of Winds, where they will learn to read the wind's directions and listen to the messages in the air.
