The Golden Raven Tavern
Where did travelers tell their adventures long ago?
Entering the Golden Raven Tavern
After watching knights in shiny armor fight in the Tournament Square, Thibault and Aélis, along with their loyal hunting dog, a pointer, head towards the Golden Raven Tavern. They listen with fascination to the epic tales of old knights, wondering what adventures await them next. Thibault, with his curly brown hair and blue tunic, and Aélis, with her forest green dress, a cap adorned with a small white feather, and a leather bag full of parchments, are captivated by the stories of bravery and mystery. Their dog, always faithful, sniffs the dark corners of the tavern, drawn by the tempting smells of cooked dishes.
After listening to tales of old knights, Thibault and Aélis, dressed in their travel clothes, entered the Golden Raven Tavern. The flames danced in the fireplace, casting dancing shadows on the stone walls. They sat by the fire, watching the patrons whisper to each other. The young girl with blond hair, wearing a forest green dress and a cap with a small white feather, looked around, amazed by the cozy atmosphere.
Thibault, amazed, says:
« It's wonderful here. »
Aélis, after looking around the room, says: « Look, there is a troubadour (1) near the fireplace. »
A troubadour, Troubadour Ysarn, stands by the fireplace, holding his magical (2) guitar (3). He starts to sing a gentle melody, telling the story of a knight lost in an enchanted forest. Thibault and Aélis listen carefully, their eyes shining with curiosity.
Troubadour Ysarn, with a soft and mysterious voice, says:
« When the last note fades away, I slip you this map. Your adventure begins where the song ends. »
Troubadour Ysarn slips them a mysterious (4) map.
The mysterious map
Thibault and Aélis look at the mysterious map. They see colorful symbols and lines that draw a path.
Thibault, curious, leans over the map and says:
« I wonder what these symbols could mean. They look like flowers, don't they? »
Aélis, after looking carefully at the map, says:
« Yes, these are rare flowers from the Misty Forest. »
Thibault, determined, says:
« We need to find these flowers to follow the map. »
Aélis, after looking at the map, explains to Thibault:
« Yes, and this moon flower is one of the rarest. It shines at night and it is said, it heals wounds. We must find it to move forward on the map. »
Curious about the troubadour's words, Thibault and Aélis leave the Golden Raven Tavern. They head towards the Star Chapel, eager to find the rare flowers mentioned by Troubadour Ysarn. Inside, they discover wall paintings (5) of legendary battles and brave knights. An old stained glass window (6) catches their eye, showing a majestic (7) dragon and a shining sword. Aélis feels a sense of familiarity as she approaches the window. Thibault looks up at the starry ceiling, wondering what adventures await them. They remember the troubadour's stories and promise to return to the tavern to share their findings. Their loyal hunting dog follows them, ready to protect them on their new adventures. They know the night will be short, for they must wake up early to search for the treasure. The moon lights their way, and they feel ready to face the mysteries of the Misty Forest.
