Bravery is when someone does something brave, even if they are scared. For example, a little terrier that barks to protect its home.

Heroes in the Middle Ages valued friendship and teamwork. They always helped each other, just like friends playing together in the schoolyard.

By working together, the knights could support and encourage each other. Together, they found the courage to overcome challenges, like friends facing a dragon in a story.

The Threat of the Villagers

After making his wish at the Star Chapel, Thibault, along with his loyal steed‎ (1), a magnificent chestnut‎ (2) horse, returns to the castle, his heart full of hope. The twinkling stars seemed to whisper secrets of courage and determination, ready to guide his next adventures. Thibault, a young squire‎ (3) with curly brown hair, dressed in a blue tunic and a red cape, always carries a small wooden sword at his belt. Aélis, his sister, a blonde girl with a green forest dress and a headdress adorned with a small white feather, often joins him. She carries a leather bag filled with parchments, passionate about riddles‎ (4) and ancient books. Together, they are ready to face new adventures.

Not long after they returned to the castle, Thibault and Aélis hear cries for help. The nearby village is in danger. A mean knight is scaring the villagers. He demands very high‎ (5) taxes‎ (6).

Thibault, determined, shouts:
« We must help these people. »

Aélis, thinking fast, said: « We must find a way to protect these people. I have an idea. We go to the Misty‎ (7) Forest. There are herbs and potions that could help us drive away this cruel knight. We must act fast. »

Thibault, curious, asks:
« Why the Misty Forest? »

Aélis, with a determined look, adds:
« Valuable clues are there. We must find them. »

Following Aélis's directions, Thibault and she head towards the Misty Forest. They know that every second counts to save the villagers. By joining their strengths and talents, they prepare to face the dangers that await them, determined to protect the innocent and show that a true hero never fights alone.

Strength in Numbers

After saving the villagers, Thibault and Aélis returned triumphant. On their way, they met an old gray owl who, perched on a branch, told them the legends of the heroes of the kingdom. These stories reminded them of the importance of their own quest and encouraged them to keep protecting the innocent, showing that a true hero never fights alone.

Thibault, relieved, says:
« We did it, Aélis. »

Aélis, with a confident smile, says:
« Yes, together, we are strong. »

Thibault, determined, says:
« We must keep helping others. »

Aelis, her eyes sparkling with excitement, says:
« The castle of Montbrave is waiting for us. We will discover how true heroes are honored. »

As they head towards Montbrave Castle, Thibault and Aélis are welcomed with pride. They are told that bravery comes from unity and that their heroic act will always be remembered. The two friends then understand that, even without the help of a knight like Knight Dragan, they have already proven their worth.

Thibault and Aélis are tired but happy, getting ready for a new adventure. They know that more challenges await them, but they are ready to face them together, for they have discovered that true strength lies in unity and friendship.
