📝 Quick summary of key information

How to read the secrets of the sky?

The Renaissance is a time when people started to explore and discover new things. Astronomers looked at the stars to better understand the world and help sailors from getting lost.

Constellations are groups of stars that make pictures in the sky. They are important because they help sailors find their way using the stars as guides.

Mythological stories are old legends that tell adventures of gods and heroes. Often, these stories are shown by the constellations in the sky.

To see the constellations, just look at the night sky and find the pictures made by the stars. It's like a big picture book written by the stars.

The Star Garden

How to read the secrets of the sky?

The Stars and the Constellations

After exploring the Palace(1) of Arts, Léandro and Sofia find themselves in an even more magical place: the Star Garden. In this peaceful(2) garden, Léandro, with his explorer's leather hat, beige cape, and compass, and Sofia, with her sketchbooks and feathers, look at the stars. A curious(3) capuchin monkey follows them as they discover the wonders of the sky. Léandro and Sofia learn that each star tells a story and that by watching them carefully, they can understand ancient mysteries(4) and faraway cultures. The curious monkey mimics their gestures, as if it wants to share their wonder.

Léandro, amazed, points at the sky:
« Look, Sofia, that star is shining very brightly. »

Sofia, amazed, says:
« Yes, it looks like a little light. »

Léandro, fascinated by the stars, explains:
« Every star has a story to tell. »

Sofia, looking at the stars, says:
« I am going to draw them in my notebook. »

Soon after, Léandro and Sofia draw a map of the stars on a glowing parchment. As they look at the stars they just drew, they notice that some of them form shapes they can recognize, like animals or objects.

They draw a map of the sky on a glowing parchment. A constellation takes the shape... of an unknown island!

The Discovery of the Unknown Island

After drawing the map of the sky, Léandro and Sofia look closely at the glowing parchment. They are amazed by what they see.

Léandro, eyes shining, whispers:
« This island looks like the ones on old maps. »

Sofia, eyes sparkling, says:
« Yes, but it is brighter. »

Léandro, eyes shining with excitement, says:
« We need to check the books. »

Sofia, excited by the discovery, says:
« I'm going to get my notebooks. »

Once Sofia comes back with her notebooks, she compares the drawings with the old maps. They find interesting clues.

Intrigued(5) by this discovery, Léandro and Sofia decide to set sail. They head towards the mysterious island. Upon arrival, they land on an island covered in strange plants(6). Vines sing, and colorful birds guide them. Léandro and Sofia, amazed, discover glowing plants and colorful animals. They realize that this island is a true treasure of nature. They decide to explore it further, knowing that each discovery could reveal new mysteries. Their adventure continues, and they know that more surprises await them.
