The Discovery of Magic Books
After following the colorful birds that seemed to invite them to explore, Léandro and Sofia discover that this island is much more magical than it appears. They have traveled through a jungle where the vines whistled mysterious melodies, and the trees seemed to whisper ancient secrets. But it is at the edge (1) (2) of a clearing that they find a carved wooden door, hidden by giant ferns. Léandro, with his sharp eyes, notices symbols carved on the door. Sofia, always curious, touches them gently, and the door creaks open softly. Inside, a soft light illuminates a huge room filled with old books. They enter the Great Library, where every shelf seems to tell a story.
Léandro, amazed, says:
« Look, Sofia, books everywhere! »
Sofia, her eyes sparkling, exclaims:
« Wow! I want to read it all! »
Not long after, Léandro starts exploring the shelves. He finds a book with a cover decorated with constellations (3). When he opens it, he discovers star maps and notes about the movements of the stars (4). Meanwhile, Sofia finds a book filled with drawings of flying machines. She turns the pages with fascination, looking at the details of the gears (5) and wings.
Léandro, eyes sparkling, exclaims:
« Sofia, come see! This book talks about the stars! »
Sofia, eyes sparkling, exclaims:
« And I have a book with flying machines! »
A book suddenly glows: it is the notebook of an old traveler who talks... about the Map of Hidden Worlds. Intrigued, they continue their exploration, discovering secrets buried for centuries. Suddenly, they hear a strange noise.
The Traveler's Notebook
The two friends look at each other, curious. They wonder what that noise could be. They carefully walk towards the source of the noise. They find a big book open on a table. The Book Guardian, a man of medium height with a long white beard and messy (6) hair, wearing round glasses and a dark blue robe with golden patterns, stands beside it. His eyes shine with wisdom and mystery. He holds an old book in his hands and wears a cape that looks like it's made of book pages. The pages of the book gently glow.
Léandro, eyes shining with excitement, exclaims:
« Sofia, come see this book! »
Sofia, amazed, says:
« I have never seen a book like this! The pages shine like stars! »
Léandro, eyes wide open, exclaims:
« Look, there are drawings of hidden worlds! »
Sofia, amazed, adds:
« And incredible creatures! »
Soon, the children find themselves on an adventure beyond their wildest dreams. As they watch the map light up and reveal itself, a mysterious breeze (7) makes the pages flutter. Suddenly, a small, colorful parrot lands on their shoulder. It seems to know the way to hidden worlds, ready to be explored. The Book Guardian, a man of medium height with a long white beard and messy hair, wearing round glasses and a dark blue robe with golden patterns, watches them from the shadows. His eyes shine with wisdom and mystery. He smiles, seeing their determination, and whispers words of encouragement, reminding them that every book is a door to new adventures. With a last look at the Great Library, Léandro, with his explorer hat, a beige cape, and a compass always attached to his belt, and Sofia, a lively and inventive girl with black hair in braids, wearing an embroidered dress and a pouch full of feathers and sketchbooks, venture towards the next step of their quest, ready to discover the secrets of the hidden worlds.
