What if a map could change our view of the world?
Big maps from the Renaissance were like open windows to the world. They showed new lands that were found and made explorers dream. These maps were very useful tools for sailing and exploring.
Back then, maps were very important. They helped explorers find their way and discover new places. They were often drawn by hand and decorated with beautiful pictures.
Curiosity and observation were very important for making discoveries. Explorers asked questions and looked closely at their surroundings. This helped them find new continents, unknown animals, and different cultures.
Today, maps keep changing how we see the world. They help us understand our planet, plan trips, and protect our environment. With them, we can explore the world without leaving our home.

The Hidden Worlds Map
What if a map could change our view of the world?
The Discovery of the Mysterious Map
After exploring the Great Library, Léandro and Sofia find torn pages in an old book. By putting them together, they discover a mysterious map. Among the pages, a scroll slips out and falls to the floor. A small white mouse picks it up and places it at their feet. They look at the map together, intrigued by the symbols and constellations (1) that come to life before their eyes. Léandro, with his explorer's leather hat, beige cape, and compass always attached to his belt, leans in to get a better look. Sofia, with her braids and satchel full of feathers and sketchbooks, starts drawing the symbols to better understand them.
Léandro, amazed, says:
« Look, Sofia, the map is coming together. »
Sofia, amazed, whispers:
« Yes, it's magical. I will draw the lines. »
Soon after, Léandro starts connecting the pieces of the map. Each piece fits (2) perfectly, showing unknown landscapes and legendary (3) places. Sofia completes the constellations and forgotten symbols. Her knowledge of astronomy (4) helps her draw imaginary lines connecting the stars.
Sofia, looking up at the starry sky, says:
« The stars are shining. I am going to draw them. »
Leandro, eyes sparkling, says:
« We are going to discover new places. »
It shows not only places, but also inventions (5) (6), dreams, and connections between all the peoples of the Earth. The symbols shine with a soft glow, as if they were alive. Sofia, amazed (7), writes down every detail in her notebook. Léandro, meanwhile, is already imagining the adventures that await them. Suddenly, a mysterious wind blows over the map, revealing a new part to explore.
The Secrets of the Map
A new part of the map appears. It shows a far-away island. Léandro and Sofia look at each other, excited. They know a new adventure is starting.
Léandro, looking at the map, says:
« We must go there. »
Sofia, eyes shining with excitement, says:
« Yes, let's pack our bags. »
They gather their things. Sofia takes her notebooks and her pens. Léandro checks his compass and his maps. They are ready for the journey.
Léandro, excited, shouts:
« Let's go quickly. »
Sofia, amazed, says:
« Look, the map is starting to fill with details. We can see places and inventions. Let's follow it, it will guide us to new discoveries. »
While the two young adventurers, Léandro and Sofia, connected the pieces of the map, a white owl perched on a shelf watched them. It blinked and flew towards the window, as if to show them a new beginning. Once the pieces of the map were connected, Léandro and Sofia completed the forgotten constellations and symbols. The map then transformed before their eyes. It revealed not only places, but also inventions, dreams, and connections between all the peoples of the Earth. Back home, the map is displayed in a round room. Children, scientists, and artists come to get inspired. The adventures and discoveries of Léandro and Sofia are told and shared. The map becomes a symbol of hope and curiosity (8), inspiring others to explore and dream. But a new question arises: what other secrets does the map still hide? It is certain that Léandro and Sofia will have to set off in search of answers, for their adventure has only just begun.
