How do gardens affect our well-being?
The Discovery of Cheverny Gardens
After exploring the secret rooms of Cheverny and discovering hidden treasures (1), Eleanor and Louis, along with their loyal dog Balthazar, a German Shepherd, understand the importance of preserving these old objects for future generations. They now know that each artifact tells a unique and precious story. Soon after, they find themselves in the beautiful gardens of Cheverny. Eleanor, with her long blond braids, wears a blue medieval dress and a small backpack shaped like an old book. Louis, on the other hand, wears a green tunic, brown pants, and a musketeer hat with a white feather. They are ready to discover the secrets of these enchanted (2) gardens.

Louis, looking around, says:
« Yes, I feel good here. Look at the butterflies. »
Eleanor, always curious, explains:
« Look, the colors on the wings of the butterflies help them hide among the flowers. It's amazing to see how nature protects them. »
Louis, curious about the sounds around him, adds:
« You're right, we can also hear the birds singing. They sing to talk to each other and mark their territory. It's another example of how nature uses sounds to protect and connect. »
Eleanor, amazed, says: « The gardens are a big ecosystem (3). Everything has a role. »
They find out that the gardens are not only beautiful, but also good for their well-being, by giving them a moment of relaxation and connection with nature. Eleanor and Louis wonder what they will discover next.
The Benefits of Gardens
Eleanor and Louis keep exploring. They go to a corner of the garden where they have never been. They find a little secret spot with colorful flowers.
Louis, amazed, says:
« Look at all these flowers! They are wonderful. »
Eleanor, her eyes sparkling, adds:
« Yes, and they smell so good. The flowers attract the bees. »
Louis, curious about the bees, explains:
« Bees help make fruits. They are important. »
Eleanor, her eyes sparkling with curiosity, adds:
« Yes, and they make honey. Honey is delicious. »
