📝 Quick summary of key information

How can dance moves tell a story?

Dancing is a way to talk with your body. Imagine that every move tells a story. For example, jumping, spinning, or stopping can show joy, fear, or surprise.

Music helps a lot when dancing. The beat of the music guides your steps, like an invisible friend showing you the way. You can dance slowly or quickly, depending on the music.

Expressing your feelings through dance is important. It helps everyone show how they feel by moving. For example, a dance where you start by walking slowly to show sadness, then you jump and spin fast to show joy.

The Dance of Feelings

How can dance movements tell a story?

The Discovery of Dance

After learning from Maestro Bello how each instrument in the orchestra tells a unique story, Inaya and Tom, amazed, head to the Star Theater. They can't wait to meet Nino the Choreographer(1) and find out how dance can express feelings. Mrs Palette, with her colorful hair, dressed like a living painting, and her brush necklaces, guides them to the big stage where colorful lights and magical costumes await.

Nino the Choreographer, with a big smile, welcomes the children by saying:
« Welcome to the Star Theater! »

Inaya, amazed, shouts:
« It's wonderful! »

Tom, with sparkling eyes, asks:
« Can we dance here? »

Nino the Choreographer, with a big smile, starts to explain:
« Of course! Dance talks with the body. Jumping shows happiness. Spinning shows surprise. Stopping shows sadness. »

Inaya watches the colorful lights. Tom stomps on the floor with his glowing sneakers and moves his feet. Nino the Choreographer shows how to express joy by jumping. Inaya imagines bright colors. Tom creates happy rhythms with his glowing sneakers. Mrs Palette encourages them to let their imagination run wild.

Mrs Palette, with a radiant smile, exclaims:
« You are budding artists! »

In a whirlwind(2) of steps and ribbons, a strange pattern(3) appears on the floor: a new piece of the big art(4) mystery(5) of the Academy.

The Mystery of Emotions

Inaya and Tom stop. They look at the floor. They see lines and shapes. Nino the Choreographer comes closer. He looks at the pattern too.

Nino the Choreographer, eyes sparkling, shouts:
« It's a map! »

Inaya, curious, asks:
« A map of what? »

Tom, curious, asks:
« Where is she going? »

Nino the Choreographer, curious about the pattern, said:
« Follow the lines. You will see. »

Inaya and Tom follow the lines. They jump and spin. Mrs Palette watches them. She smiles. She is curious.

Mrs Palette, with an encouraging smile, says:
« Keep going! Find the secret. »

After dancing their feelings under the colorful lights of the Théâtre des Étoiles, Inaya and Tom are invited to follow the mysterious lines that appear on the floor. They are then led to the creation workshop, where a new artistic adventure awaits them. There, they meet Mrs Palette, a jack-of-all-trades(6) artist who encourages every child to find their creative path, accompanied by her Persian(7) cat, Archimède. They are then introduced to the art of drawing extraordinary houses, filled with magical details and hidden secrets. Together, they start drawing an enchanted house, where each room tells a different story. Inaya and Tom are then ready for a new artistic adventure, full of dreams and imagination.
