The Sculptor's Shapes
How to turn a piece of clay into a magical sculpture?
The Discovery of Shapes
With Mrs Palette's magic camera, a photographer with eyes as sharp (1) as an eagle's, Inaya and Tom capture unique moments. They learn to see the world with fresh eyes, like a painter who observes every detail before starting a canvas (2). Then, they put the camera away and head to Malo the Sculptor's workshop, where the adventure continues. Inaya and Tom enter Malo the Sculptor's workshop, a young boy passionate about the art of sculpture. Funny statues and blocks of clay ready to be transformed surround them. Malo, a boy of medium height (3) with curly brown hair that falls slightly over his forehead, and sparkling green eyes, greets them with an apron (4) stained with clay and paint. Mrs Palette joins them, dressed like a living painting, with necklaces of brushes and a mischievous look, her multicolored hair dancing with her steps.
Mrs Palette, with a mysterious smile, says:
« Every sculpture starts with an idea, a feeling, or a story. »
Malo the Sculptor, with an encouraging smile, says:
« Come, touch the clay. You will see, by shaping and carving it, you can bring your ideas to life. Let your hands speak and your dreams take shape. »
Inaya, with a curious smile, says: « I start to knead (5) a ball of clay. »
Tom, always on the move, exclaims:
« I hit a block to make funny shapes come out. »
Inaya, her eyes sparkling, then says:
« I found a small shiny piece, hidden inside a ball of clay. »
Tom, amazed, shouts:
« It's wonderful! »
Mrs Palette, curious, comes closer and says: « I see that you have found something interesting. This piece could be part of a mystery (6) to solve. Let's keep looking together to see what we can find out. »
While gently digging into a ball of clay, Inaya finds a small, shiny piece hidden inside: a new part of the mystery to put together.
The Art of Transformation
Inaya shows the fragment to Tom. The two friends are amazed. They decide to keep sculpting to find more pieces.
Inaya, full of hope, says:
« I want to see if I find another piece. »
Tom, very excited, says:
« I'm going to look in my ball of clay too. »
Inaya, after thinking for a moment, says:
« I am going to use a suitable tool to dig. »
Tom, after finding a tool, says:
« I am going to dig with a suitable tool. »
After a few minutes of searching, Inaya finds a small shiny piece. Inaya and Tom then look at each other with wide eyes. They run to show their discovery to Mrs Palette.
Mrs Palette, with an encouraging smile, says:
« You have found a new piece. You are on the right track. »
With sparkling eyes, Inaya and Tom leave Malo the Sculptor's workshop with their precious fragment. They then head to the Decorating Workshop, where a whimsical (7) decorator turns every corner into a wonderful scene. They will discover how a simple room can transform into a magical world thanks to the art of decorating. With their new sculpting skills and mystery to solve, Inaya and Tom are ready for a new adventure full of creativity and magic.
