📝 Quick summary of key information
How does an oven work to bake pastries?
An oven is a magical machine that uses heat to cook food. It turns ingredients into yummy treats. Imagine a little sun in your kitchen, that's what it's like!
The heat of the oven works magic on the dough. It makes it golden and crispy, just like that. This is how the dough becomes soft bread or a yummy cake.
To make perfect pastries, it's important to watch the temperature. Too hot, and it's burned! Too cold, and it's raw! You need to find the middle way.
Cooking time is very important. If it's too long, the pastries become as black as coal. If it's too short, they stay soft. So, you need to watch the clock carefully.

Meeting the Magic Oven
After mixing the eggs with lots of energy and blending the sugar until it was smooth in the Bakers (1)' Workshop, guided by a little duck, Leo and Lila are ready to discover the next steps in baking. Their teacher (2), The Magic Oven, invites them into the magical bakery (3) where new adventures await. Leo, with his white apron splattered with chocolate and his colorful chef's hat, and Lila, with her brown hair in a ponytail and her pink apron with little cakes drawn on it, are eager (4) to learn the secrets of baking.
Leo, with his eyes wide open, asks:
« What is this big oven? »
Lila, amazed, says: « It is wonderful with its golden (5) details. »
Leo, curious, asks then:
« How does it work? »
The Magic Oven, with a warm and comforting voice, starts to speak: « I am a magic oven. I turn dough into delicious pastries (6). Heat is very important for baking your creations. You must set the temperature and baking time for each type of pastry. »
Not long after, the children watch the Magic Oven. Pictures of cakes, bread, and candies are on the glass door. Little colorful lights blink around it, adding a magical touch. The Magic Oven shows them how to set the temperature and the cooking time. Meanwhile, Lila carefully measures the ingredients. Leo, with his white apron stained with chocolate and his colorful chef hat, helps to set the oven buttons. It is explained that the heat from the Magic Oven turns the ingredients into a delicious pastry.
They learn to set the temperature and baking time for each type of pastry. By following the Magic Oven's advice, they get perfectly baked cakes and bread. Suddenly, a little red light flashes on the oven. What's happening?
The Perfect Baking Challenge
When the little colorful lights start to blink, Leo and Lila look at each other, curious. They turn to the Magic Oven to find out what is happening.
Leo, curious, asks:
« Why is the red light blinking? »
Lila, wrinkling her forehead a little, asks:
« Is something wrong? »
The Magic Oven, with a warm and reassuring voice, says:
« The red light means it's time to check the pastries. They might be ready. »
Leo and Lila open the door of the oven. They see that the pastries are golden and smell good. They are happy to see that everything is perfect.
Leo, delighted, exclaims:
« We did it! »
Lila, happy, says:
« Yes, we followed the advice. »
Now that the pastries are perfectly baked, Leo and Lila feel confident in their new skills. They are ready to explore new culinary adventures. The sweet smell of cocoa leads them to the Recipe Library, where a wise owl named Luna is waiting for them. She is introduced to reveal the mysteries (7) of chocolate. The children will discover where chocolate comes from and how it is made, while learning ancient secrets and delicious recipes. They can't wait to discover the new adventures that await them in the Little Bakers' Bakery.
