They can't wait to find out how firefighters take care of injured people. Captain Spark greets them with his reassuring smile. He explains that in this room, they will learn essential actions to help in case of small accidents.

Assoumata, with great concentration, says:
« Jun, watch carefully. I am going to show you how to put on a bandage. »

Jun, impatient, says:
« Okay, I'm ready. Show me. »

Assoumata, always paying attention, explains to Jun:
« Bandages protect wounds from infections. They also help them heal. »

Jun, eyes wide open, asks:
« Is it true? I didn't know that. »

Not long after, they learn how to put someone in the safety position. This position protects the spine‎ (2) if there is a serious injury. Assoumata calmly and carefully simulates an emergency. She calls for help and explains each step.
