The House of Hazards: A Challenge to Overcome
After mastering (1) the art of first aid with a lost kitten, Jun and Assoumata head to the Danger House, ready to discover new adventures (2). By simulating an emergency, they learned to stay calm and call for help effectively. Today, they will learn to spot hidden dangers in a house. Jun, with his red uniform, black boots, and shiny helmet, is already ready to climb everywhere. Assoumata, with her helmet and walkie-talkie, carefully observes every detail. Captain Spark welcomes them with a big smile and his red mustache clearly visible.
Captain Spark, with a reassuring smile, turns to the children and says:
« You are ready for a new mission. »
Jun, with a determined smile, says:
« Yes, Captain Spark! We are going to spot the dangers. »
Assoumata, with determination, says:
« We are going to make the house safer. »
Not long after, Jun and Assoumata start their inspection. Jun climbs onto a chair to reach the electrical outlets that are too low. Assoumata carefully writes down each dangerous (3) object in her notebook. They find outlets in the wrong places and sharp objects.
Jun, while climbing on the chair, says:
« Watch out, Assoumata! This outlet is too low. »
Assoumata, after looking at the outlet, says:
« I see. We need to move it higher. »
Behind a shower curtain, they find a hidden message with a drawing of a lock and a flame... the key to a big secret?
The Mystery of the Shower Curtain
Jun and Assoumata look at the message with curiosity. Assoumata, always attentive, tries to understand what it means. Jun speaks up.
Jun, curious, asks:
« Assoumata, do you think it's a code? »
Assoumata, after thinking for a moment, said:
« Maybe. Let's look around us carefully. »
The two friends (4) look everywhere in the bathroom. They open the drawers and look under the sink. Assoumata finds a small bottle with a danger symbol.
Assoumata, after looking at the bottle carefully, says:
« Jun, this bottle is dangerous. We need to put it in a safe place. »
Jun, after looking at the bottle, says:
« Yes, we need to put it in a safe place. »
After discovering the mystery behind the shower curtain, Jun and Assoumata are intrigued (5). They decide to continue their exploration of the Danger House. As they enter another room, they hear worrying meows (6). With a ladder and reassuring gestures, they manage to rescue a kitten that had ventured too far onto a roof. Jun, always ready for action, climbs up quickly while Assoumata soothes the kitten with gentle words. Captain Spark, who watches them with pride, knows that his young students are becoming real everyday heroes. The day ends on a joyful note, and the children return to the station, eager (7) to share their new adventure with their friends.
