How to know what customers really want?
The Secrets of the Colorful Sticky Notes
After learning how to calculate the right price with the help of Madame Pitch, Mila and Samy understood the importance of setting fair (1) prices for their products. Madame Pitch gives them a challenge: sell three different items without making any mistakes in the prices! Little Mila, with her star-shaped glasses, a pink cap, and a notebook full of ideas stuck to her hand, is especially excited to apply her new knowledge, while Samy, with his apron full of pockets with loyalty cards, labels, and fluorescent pens, makes sure everything is in order. They both go to the Agency to discuss their plan with Madame Pitch, a mysterious old lady with long, curly white hair, wearing a blue dress with embroidered flowers, a big green shawl, and a carved wooden cane. She welcomes them with a big smile. She explains that with a bit of strategy, they will not only be able to sell their products but also understand what the customers really want.
Madame Pitch, with a mischievous smile, then shows:
« Here are boards filled with colorful sticky notes. Each color stands for a type of product. »
Mila, pointing at the sticky notes, says:
« The pink sticky notes are for toys. The blue ones are for clothes. The green ones are for accessories. »
Samy, after looking at the boards, explains: « It's like a secret code (2). The colors help us understand what the customers want. »
Madame Pitch nods with a smile and adds:
« That's right. By connecting the clients' wishes to your products, you find out what they are looking for. »
By connecting the wishes to their products, they discover a hidden symbol in a heart-shaped graph: a precious new clue (3) to keep. Mila and Samy understand that to sell their products, they must first understand what the clients are looking for. They carefully note down every detail. They are ready to apply this new knowledge. Soon after, they embark on a new adventure. They go to Madame Pitch, a mysterious and wise old lady with long, curly white hair, a blue dress with embroidered flowers, a large green shawl, and a carved wooden cane. They need her advice to solve a new puzzle.
The Trend Strategy
Mila and Samy enter Madame Pitch's Advice Agency. She greets them with a warm smile. The room is filled with boards covered in colorful sticky notes and client ideas. Madame Pitch shows them a big heart-shaped chart on a table.
Madame Pitch, with a mischievous smile, leans towards them and says:
« Here is a book of secrets. It has tips to understand the clients. »
Mila, eyes wide open, asks:
« Is this a magic book? »
Madame Pitch explains: « No, it is a book of wisdom (4). It helps to understand people's needs. »
Samy, after looking at the boards, says:
« We must listen to the clients. It's important. »
Madame Pitch nods with a smile:
« Exactly. Listen and watch. You got it right. »
After discovering a mysterious symbol in the Agency, Mila and Samy go to the shop. They start sorting through their shelves and make colorful labels for each product. Madame Pitch, with her sticky notes all over her, guides them from the Agency to understand the importance of managing stock. Why is it important to know how many products are left in the shop? To avoid running out of stock (5) and always make customers happy. Mila and Samy are proud of their new strategy. They now know how to listen to customers and give them exactly what they want. Madame Pitch praises their work and tells them they will soon have a new challenge to face. Mini-Ville of Little Shopkeepers is full of surprises, and Mila and Samy's adventures are far from over.
