📝 Quick summary of key information

How can we reduce waste in a company?

Recycling is like a superpower for our planet. It turns trash into new useful things. For example, plastic bottles can become clothes or toys. It's good for Earth because it reduces waste that pollutes the oceans and forests.

Companies can use recycled materials to make products. For example, cardboard can be turned into new packaging. Offices can also use recycled paper to print documents. This shows that even small actions can make a big difference.

To be more durable, companies can use eco-friendly practices. They can use energy-saving light bulbs and machines that use less electricity. This helps protect the environment and save money.

Reducing waste in a company is very important. It helps to protect nature and promote sustainable development. Companies that reduce their waste show they care about the future of our planet and its inhabitants.

The Green Lab: Eco Innovations

How can we reduce waste in a company?

The Green Lab Discovery

After visiting the Model Factory, where Thomas and Manon, along with their loyal robot dog, Max, showed the importance of wearing safety gear and using safe machines, they head to a new challenge. They saw how technology can improve safety and the quality of products, and now, they are ready to share their knowledge elsewhere. Their next stop is the Green Lab, a place dedicated to finding eco(1)-friendly solutions to reduce waste and protect the environment.

Once they arrive at the Green Lab, Thomas and Manon are greeted by curious and enthusiastic workers. The workers look at Manon with her leaf-shaped badge. She starts to explain the importance of recycling(2). Thomas, wearing a yellow helmet, safety glasses, and a reflective jacket with safety badges, stands by her side.

Manon, with a reassuring smile, begins to explain:
« Recycling helps to reduce waste. »

Thomas, always paying attention, adds:
« Yes, and it also protects nature. »

Manon, with a smile, shows:
« Look at these plastic bottles. They become clothes. »

Thomas, always careful about safety, adds:
« And these used batteries. They are recycled to recover materials that can be reused to make new batteries. »

Manon shows amazing machines. They sort and recycle materials automatically(3). The workers are impressed by the sustainable(4) solutions and start to understand how they can help reduce their company's impact(5) on the environment.

She shows them sustainable solutions and how to use them in the industry to minimize waste and reduce environmental impact.

Sustainable Solutions

Manon shows the workers how to sort trash into different categories. She explains that each type of trash has a special place. The workers listen carefully and ask questions.

Manon, pointing with her finger, says:
« Plastics go in this bin. »

Thomas, always paying attention to details, adds:
« Manon is right, it's very important to sort our trash properly. For example, metals should go in this bin. This helps us recycle them better and reduce our impact on the environment. »

Manon, showing a bin, says:
« The papers go in this bin. »

Thomas, pointing with his finger, says:
« The glass goes in this bin. »

After showing the different bins, Manon explains the importance of each category. She shows how each material can be turned into new products. The workers are impressed by the possibilities offered by recycling.

After teaching the workers at the Green Lab about eco-friendly practices, Manon heads to the QSE(6) Training Center. She will organize interactive workshops to show the workers how important it is to keep learning about quality, safety, and the environment. Her loyal dog, a German Shepherd named Max, goes with her, ready to learn too. She can't wait to share her knowledge and keep promoting a more sustainable and safe future for everyone.
