📝 Quick summary of key information
How does recycling help protect the environment?
Recycling is like giving objects a second life. For example, a plastic bottle can become a new toy. Isn't that magical?
Recycling is very important because it helps to reduce pollution. Less trash in nature means less danger for animals and plants. They can then live in peace.
Recycling also saves natural resources. For example, recycling paper saves trees. Fewer trees cut down means more oxygen for everyone!
Kids can easily take part in recycling. At home or at school, they can sort trash and put it in the right bins. It's simple and fun!

The Recycling and Waste Transformation Center

Discovering the Recycling Center
After exploring the Innovation Park and discovering (1) incredible inventions like solar panels and wind turbines, the children are taken on a new adventure. The Recycling Center, a fascinating place where waste is transformed into useful new objects, is the next stop on their educational day. Karim and Laetitia, experts in sustainability (2), show the children how waste can be turned into valuable resources. The curious and enthusiastic children follow their guides, ready to discover the secrets of this magical place. They learn that every little action counts to protect our planet.
Karim, full of energy, starts to talk:
« Now that we are here, let's watch together how trash can be turned into something new. Look, here is a plastic bottle. It seems ordinary, but it can become something really useful. »
Laetitia, with an enthusiastic smile, starts to explain:
« Look, this plastic bottle is going to be transformed into a new toy or a decorative item. You will see how incredible it is to see how a simple piece of trash can take on a new life and become useful again. »
Karim, with an enthusiastic smile, starts to explain:
« First, we clean it and we crush it. »
Laetitia, with an enthusiastic smile, continues: « Then, the pieces of plastic are melted and turned into pellets (3). These pellets can be used (4) to make new plastic objects, like toys or furniture. »
Meanwhile, Laetitia explains how used paper is recycled to make new sheets of paper. The children are amazed to see how plastic bottles are turned into useful new things, like toys or furniture, and how old newspapers can become new notebooks.
They join fun recycling activities and learn how every little action helps protect our planet.
Recycling Activities
Karim and Laetitia show the children how every little action matters. They encourage them to always sort their trash. The children are amazed by what they discover.
Karim, with a big smile, announces:
« Now, let's make flower pots. »
Laetitia, with a smile, adds:
« Yes, with plastic bottles. »
Karim, with a big smile, starts by saying:
« We clean them first. »
Laetitia, with an encouraging smile, says:
« Then, we cut them and decorate them. »
