📝 Quick summary of key information

Why is it important for workers to keep learning?

Training is like learning new things at school, but for grown-ups. Workers take classes to stay up-to-date at their jobs.

Staying up to date is important to know the best ways to work. For example, an employee must know how to use tools safely, just like a sheepdog knows how to guard its flock.

The interactive workshops make learning fun. The employees play and learn at the same time, like a game where they have to solve problems together.

Safety rules are very important. They help to avoid accidents, like knowing how to use a fire extinguisher in case of a fire.

Training helps workers do their jobs better, be safer, and learn new skills. It's like growing and getting stronger every day.

The QSE Training Center: Learning While Having Fun

Why is continuous training important for employees?

Fun Workshops

After leaving the Green Lab(1), where Manon showed the workers how to recycle materials and reduce waste, it's time for Thomas and Manon to go to the QSE Training Center. This place is all about learning the best practices for quality, safety, and the environment. Thomas, with his yellow helmet, safety goggles, and reflective jacket with safety badges, and Manon, with her white coat and green accessories, are ready to share their knowledge.

Thomas, with a reassuring smile, starts by saying:
« Hello everyone! Today, we are going to learn about the importance of personal protective equipment. »

Manon, with a friendly smile, adds: « Yes, and we will also see how to recycle and use eco-friendly(2) materials. »

Thomas, always paying attention, starts to explain:
« Wearing a helmet, gloves, and glasses protects from dangers. »

Manon, with a friendly smile, starts to explain:
« Recycling trash helps the planet. Using eco-friendly materials is good for everyone. »

After explaining the importance of PPE, Thomas and Manon guide the employees to a simulation room. They show how to react in an emergency. The employees learn to use fire extinguishers(3) and to evacuate in case of a fire. Manon simulates a false fire alarm. Everyone laughs and learns at the same time.

Once the workers understand the importance of PPE, they go to a simulation room. Thomas and Manon set up practice exercises. The workers learn to follow safety rules(4) and improve their skills in case of an emergency.

Simulations and Workshops

After practicing safety procedures and emergency simulations, the employees are ready to learn new lessons. To do this, Thomas and Manon guide them to a control room. They show machines that check the quality, explaining how they work and why they are important for making sure the products and processes are good.

Thomas, with a reassuring smile, starts by saying:
« Here is a quality control machine. It checks every product. »

Manon, with an encouraging smile, explains:
« The workers learn to use measuring tools. »

Thomas, with a smile, shows the workers: « With a micrometer(5), we measure the small parts. »

Manon, with a smile, shows the workers: « With a depth gauge(6), we check the holes. »

The workers are amazed by the accuracy of the tools. Manon explains the importance of traceability. She shows how to follow each step of production with software. The workers learn to ensure the quality of the products.

After helping the workers understand safety procedures and quality control techniques, Thomas and Manon go to the Safety Equipment Park. This park, run by animated squirrels, is a fun place where they show different types of personal protective equipment (PPE), like helmets, gloves, and safety glasses. The workers, now well-trained, are ready to use what they've learned in their daily work. They know that ongoing training is important to ensure quality, safety, and sustainability(7). Thomas and Manon, proud of their mission accomplished, are already preparing for their next adventure. They know that every day brings new challenges and learning opportunities. Soon after, they receive an urgent call from a nearby factory that needs their help. Without wasting time, they head to this new mission, ready to share their knowledge and help improve quality, safety, and environmental practices.
