📝 Quick summary of key information

Where do you find the magic bricks to build a program?

Imagine building blocks, but for computers! These blocks are called modules. A module is a small block of code ready to use, like Lego pieces.

Modules are very useful. They help create bigger programs by combining them with other modules. It's like building a big tower with small blocks.

Some modules can even interact with the real world. For example, they can control motors, sensors, or lights. It's magical!

Kids can find these modules in programming environments made just for them. It's like having a toolbox full of magic bricks to create amazing programs.

The Module Market

Where can you find the magic bricks to build a program?

The Discovery of the Module Market

After finishing their living site, Aïcha and Kenji came down from the Magic Site Cloud. With their new skills, they turned lines of code into an enchanted garden of shiny pages. Their little rabbit, Zou, watched them, fascinated by the digital stars that sparkled around him. The two friends felt proud of their creation, but they knew they still needed some elements to make their inventions(1) even more magical. That's when they heard about the Module(2) Market, a place where you could find magic bricks to build incredible programs.

Soon after, they arrived in a magical market. The stalls shone with colorful modules, tiny screens, and glowing(3) wires. The two friends were amazed by so many possibilities.

Aïcha, amazed, says:
« Look, Kenji! All these modules! »

Kenji, eyes wide open, exclaims:
« It's magical! I want to see everything! »

Aïcha, curious, asks:
« What is this? »

Bitsina Merchant, with a warm smile, approaches the children and says: « Welcome, children! You're wondering what all these modules are, aren't you? Each module has a special job. Some control motors, others control sensors(4) or lights. They help us interact with the real world. »

Aïcha and Kenji collected code blocks like treasures as they dreamed of the inventions they could create with them. They wondered what adventures awaited them now that they had discovered the magical modules of the Bitsina Merchant.

The Module Challenge

Aïcha and Kenji started talking about their project. They wanted a special robot.

Aïcha, her eyes sparkling with excitement, exclaims:
« It must dance and tell jokes. »

Kenji, excited, adds:
« Yes, and it must be fast and bright. »

Aïcha, thinking out loud, says:
« For this, we need good modules. »

Kenji, after looking at the stalls, says:
« Bitsina Merchant can help us. »

Bitsina Merchant, with a mischievous smile, offers:
« I can give you movement modules. »

Bitsina Merchant, with a mischievous smile, announces: « Aïcha, you will get sound and logic(5) modules. »

After receiving the movement, sound, and logic modules from Bitsina Merchant, Aïcha and Kenji realized that their adventure was just beginning. As they walked through an enchanted forest, they found a glowing path that led them to the Valley of Pixels(6). Here, every flower, every rock, and every hummingbird with shimmering wings were made of pixels they could change. They were then asked: can we really change the world with a few lines of code?
