📝 Quick summary of key information
Can we write with just two numbers?
Binary language is a very special way of writing. It uses only two numbers: 0 and 1. With these two numbers, you can write letters, numbers, and even actions. For example, the letter 'A' can be shown with a mix of 0s and 1s. It's like a secret code that computers understand very well.
Every mix of 0 and 1 can stand for a letter, a number, or an action. Computers use this language to understand and follow instructions. Imagine that every letter or number has its own secret code in binary. This is how computers can read and write information.
Binary language is the base of modern computers. It helps computers work right by turning all information into sequences of 0s and 1s. It's like computers speak a special language that only they can understand.
Yes, we can write whole words with binary language. Each word is turned into a series of 0s and 1s. For example, the word 'cat' would be changed into a long sequence of 0s and 1s that the computer can read and understand. Isn't that amazing?

Binary language
After finding strange grids of symbols in an old notebook and flipping through a book with golden pages, Elio and Clara realize that these clues lead them to an even more mysterious (1) world. They follow a white owl that guides them to an old laboratory. She leads them to a secret door and disappears with a wink (2). Elio, with his round glasses, blue overalls, and gear (3) watch, is very excited. Clara, with her red hair tied in a bun and her purple jacket full of pockets, takes out a notebook to write down the clues. They push the door and enter a bright hallway where numbers float in the air. They are ready to discover the secrets of the Turing (4) machine (5).
Elio, eyes wide open, shouts:
« Look, Clara, numbers in the air. »
Clara, curious, looks at the numbers and says:
« Yes, and they move. »
Elio, eyes shining with curiosity, says:
« I am going to read them. »
Clara, always ready to solve puzzles, says:
« Okay, I will go get my chart. »
Soon after, Elio reads 01000011. Clara pulls out a code chart. She always has lots of little notes in her pockets. They translate the code.
They translate the code: it's the letter 'C'. Clara keeps reading the floating numbers. The word 'CODE' slowly appears around them in the light. Elio and Clara look at each other, amazed. They know they are on the right track and that every number is important. They keep walking down the bright hallway, ready to solve new mysteries.
The mystery of the codes
After translating the code, Elio and Clara keep going. They find new numbers in the air. Clara takes out her notebook. She writes down the sequences quickly.
Elio, pointing at the floating numbers, says:
« Clara, look at these numbers. They make groups. »
Clara, always ready to write secret messages, says:
« Yes, I will write them. Let's see what it looks like. »
Elio looks at the patterns. He starts to understand. Each group of numbers stands for a letter. Clara laughs, imagining writing with just two numbers.
Elio, eyes sparkling, exclaims:
« Clara, we can write letters with 0s and 1s. »
Clara, excited, says:
« It's like a puzzle. Each piece is a 0 or a 1. »
Intrigued by the word 'CODE' appearing before them, Elio and Clara understand that their adventure is just beginning. They head towards a new room, a dome (6) filled with diagrams and gears. Under this big dome, they will discover how their ideas can become magical inventions (7). Clara draws a gear while Elio connects the wires of an old keyboard. Together, they will solve mysteries and explore the world of ideas. Their curiosity drives them to keep going, and they know that every new discovery will lead them to another puzzle to solve.
