The Garden Mysteries

After exploring the Dome(1) of Ideas, Elio and Clara, along with their faithful dog Biscuit, discovered how ideas can come to life. Under a large dome filled with diagrams(2), Clara drew a perfect gear(3) while Elio connected the wires of an old keyboard. Their sharp minds led them to an old laboratory where a new adventure awaited. Soon after, they find themselves in a garden with paths shaped like circuits. The flowers seem to be sleeping, waiting for something to bloom. Elio and Clara, curious and determined, decide to solve this mystery.

Elio, curious, points to a stone and says:
« Look, Clara, questions on the stones. »

Clara, her eyes shining with curiosity, suggests:
« Yes, maybe the flowers open with answers. »

After reading the first question, Elio starts to think. The flowers, still closed, seem to be waiting for something. Elio, carefully observing the colors of the petals, notes the changes in his notebook. Suddenly, a flower opens, revealing a hidden clue. The children then understand that each correct answer might be the key to making the flowers bloom.

Elio, watching the flowers, says:
« Every time Elio answers correctly, a flower blooms. »

Clara, with a sly smile, suggests:
« Great, let's draw the patterns of the flowers and the paths. »

Clara finds the answer to the last riddle. Then, a beautiful glowing tree lights up and shows a pretty symbol, just like the one on the Turing machine.

The Discovery of the Glowing Tree

Elio recognizes this symbol right away. It is the same as the one we saw on the secret code(4) machine. Clara, excited, writes the symbol in her notebook. They understand that this symbol is the key to continue their adventure.

Clara, her eyes sparkling, whispers then:
« Elio, this symbol is magical. »

Elio, with a mischievous smile, adds:
« Yes, Clara, it opens new doors for us. »

Clara, excited by this discovery, then suggests:
« Let's go to the lab. »

Elio, excited, says:
« Okay, Clara. Quick, let's run. »

After running, they arrive at the lab. Elio, a boy with round glasses, a blue overalls, and a gear watch that he winds up to think, places the symbol found in the garden into a slot(5) of the machine. A roll starts to turn slowly. The two detectives, Elio and Clara, watch with curiosity. A screen lights up, revealing letters and numbers that arrange into a coded message. Clara, with sparkling eyes, exclaims: 'It's a puzzle!' They now know they must decode(6) this message to continue their quest. With their logical minds and curiosity, they are ready to face new adventures and solve the mysteries of the Turing machine. Their next step will lead them to even more fascinating discoveries.
