📝 Quick summary of key information
Can time go faster or slower?
Time is like a big river that always flows in the same direction. It starts in the morning when you wake up and keeps going until the evening when you go to bed. For example, the time that passes between sunrise and sunset is a day.
Sometimes, time seems to go faster or slower. When you play with your friends, the hours go by quickly, like time is racing with you. But when you do your homework, every minute can feel like forever, like time is moving slowly.
To measure time, we use tools like clocks and calendars. A clock shows the hours and minutes, which helps us know when it's time to eat or sleep. A calendar counts the days, weeks, and months, so we know when it's your birthday or vacation.
It's important to respect time to organize our day. For example, it's crucial to wake up on time to go to school or for meals. This helps us not to be late and to do all our activities without stress.

The Mystery of Changing Time
Can time go faster or slower?
The Time Station
After exploring the mysteries of stars and galaxies (1), Léo and Léa, along with their faithful friend Albert Einstein, are back on board the Magic Train of Albert Einstein. That morning, the train takes them to a new mysterious station: the Time Station. Léo, with his train engineer cap, and Léa, with her sketchbook in hand, are eager to discover what this station hides. They get off the train and find themselves surrounded by clocks everywhere.
Léo, eyes wide open, exclaims:
« Look, Léa! The clocks don't go the same way. »
Léa, curious, says:
« That's weird! Why are they different? »
Léo, curious about the clocks, says:
« I don't know. Maybe Albert Einstein knows. »
A short time later, they find Albert Einstein near a magic clock. He smiles and waves for them to come closer. He explains that time does not always pass at the same speed. For example, if you travel very fast, time passes more slowly.
Léo, eyes wide open, asks:
« How is this possible? »
Léa, amazed, says:
« It's magical! I'm going to draw this in my notebook. »
A magic clock tells them that to find a piece of the Relativity (2) Map, they will have to watch how time slows down in the next carriage.
The Relativity Carriage
After understanding this phenomenon (3) well, Léo and Léa head to the Relativity car. They can't wait to see how time slows down.
Léo, eyes sparkling with excitement, exclaims:
« Wow! We're going to see time slow down. »
Léa, her eyes sparkling, says:
« I can't wait to draw what I will see. »
Léo, eyes wide open, asks:
« Are we really going to see time slow down? »
Léa, her eyes shining with excitement, exclaims:
« Yes, and maybe time will slow down so much that we will see incredible things, like objects moving more slowly. »
Once inside the carriage, they discover mirrors and beams of light (4). They notice that even if they run as fast as they can, they cannot catch up with the light. Albert Einstein explains that light is always faster, even if you run after it. Léo, curious, asks how this is possible. Albert Einstein, with a smile, tells them a funny story where he imagines running after a ray of light. He shows them that the closer you get to the speed of light, the slower time goes for you. Léa, always attentive, draws clocks that slow down and rays of light that zoom by.
Curious about the magical clocks, Léo and Léa follow Albert Einstein into the Hidden Energy (5) Tunnel. This tunnel is filled with sparkling lights and shiny stars. Inside, they find the famous formula (6) E=mc². Albert Einstein explains that energy is hidden in matter (7) and that even a small amount of matter can release a huge amount of energy. Léo and Léa are amazed by this discovery. They understand that Albert Einstein's ideas have changed the way we see the world. Once their adventure in the Hidden Energy Tunnel is over, they get ready for their next adventure on board the Magic Train of Albert Einstein, eager to discover even more mysteries and wonders. However, they know that to find a piece of the Map of Relativity, they must observe how time slows down in the next carriage. So, they head towards that carriage, curious about what they will find there.
