📝 Quick summary of key information

Can gravity bend the paths?

Gravity is an invisible force that pulls things to the ground. Imagine you jump in the air: gravity always brings you back down. It's like a magnet that pulls everything down.

Gravity also affects paths and roads. Over time, it can make paths tilt or twist, especially if they are not built well. It's like the Earth is pulling the roads towards it.

Understanding gravity is very important. It helps to build safer and stronger roads. Engineers need to know how gravity works to keep paths from breaking or becoming dangerous.

Kids can see paths that look like they are tilting or have bumps. These changes are often caused by gravity. For example, a road that goes downhill is easier to build and take care of.

The Curvy Path Forest

Can gravity bend the paths?

The Winding Paths

After seeing a tiny drop turn into light in the Hidden Energy Tunnel, Léo and Léa, along with Albert Einstein, wonder what else might be hidden in other mysterious(1) corners of this world. Albert Einstein, their guide, then tells them about a unique place where reality itself seems to bend to the laws of relativity(2). Curious, the two children follow Albert Einstein out of the magic train and enter a dense and mysterious forest.

Léo, eyes wide open, asks:
« What is this place? »

Léa, curious, asks:
« Why are the trees bent? »

Soon after, the children follow a winding path. The trail changes direction around a giant rock. They find a piece of the Relativity Map stuck between two roots. Léo and Léa are surprised to see that the trees themselves seem bent by an invisible(3) force.

Léo, curious, asks then:
« Why is the map crumpled? »

Léa, curious, wonders:
« What bends the trees? »

The children notice that the paths in the forest are not straight but curved. As if a giant hand had bent them. They understand that gravity(4) can affect not only objects, but also the paths they take.

The Mysteries of Gravity

After looking at the curved paths, Léo and Léa pick up the twisted leaf. They look at it with curiosity. A mysterious force seems to have bent this leaf.

Léo, curious, asks:
« What is this leaf? »

Léa, intrigued, asks:
« It's really weird, this leaf! Why is it all warped like this? »

Léa wonders how the leaf could have become so warped. She decides to show it to a physicist(5). She hopes he can explain this mystery to her.

Léo, eyes shining with curiosity, asks:
« Can a scientist help us? »

Léa, curious, wonders out loud:
« What force bends the paths? »

After finding the leaf from the Map of Relativity, the children hear the gentle whisper of the wind guiding them to the Hall of Bright Ideas. There, Albert Einstein shares his childhood dreams, where he traveled with light. The children understand that even dreams can help us understand the world. They realize that gravity, though invisible, plays a crucial role in our universe(6). Léo and Léa, amazed by this new discovery, promise to continue exploring the mysteries of nature with Albert Einstein. They now know that every corner of the forest, every star in the sky, hides fascinating secrets to discover. Their adventure leads them to new questions and new adventures, always accompanied by their kind and curious guide.
