📝 Quick summary of key information

Why does Uranus the Frozen lean to the side and is she so cold?

Uranus is tilted because a very big planet or asteroid hit it a long time ago. This crash made it spin on its side, like a top that falls over.

Uranus is very far from the Sun, so it gets less heat. The temperature on Uranus is very low, almost -200 degrees Celsius. It's colder than the freezer in your kitchen!

Uranus is blue-green because of the methane in its atmosphere. The methane absorbs red light and reflects blue and green light, making it look so beautiful.

Yes, Uranus has rings, but they are thinner and less visible than Saturn's. They are made of ice and dust, and they go around the planet.

Why does Uranus lean to the side and is so cold?

Arrival at Uranus the Frozen

After admiring the singing rings of Saturn, two little asteroids(1), Piko and Luma, were still amazed by the secrets the elegant planet(2) had shared with them. Indeed, Saturn had explained that its rings were made of pieces of ice and rocks, just like them. But most importantly, she had revealed that these rings were the result of gravity(3) pulling debris around her, creating a unique and enchanting spectacle. Piko and Luma, curious to discover new wonders, headed towards the next stop on their journey. Their destination? Uranus the Frozen(4), the shy but humorous fairy, who glided gently on her tilted(5) path.

Piko, amazed, says:
« Look, Luma! Uranus the Frozen is really special. »

Luma, curious, asks:
« Yes, she is lying on her side. Why do you think that is? »

Piko, curious, wonders:
« It's true, she is really tilted! Maybe she took a nap that was too long and hasn't been able to stand up yet? »

Luma, after thinking for a moment, says:
« Maybe. But Uranus the Frozen is very nice too. »

Piko, eyes sparkling with curiosity, asks:
« Why is Uranus the Frozen so special? »

Luma, thinking for a moment, then explains:
« Because she is far from the Sun. The heat takes a long time to get there. »

After talking about Uranus the Frozen's special features, Piko and Luma see a magical sight. Uranus the Frozen gives them a laughing ice ball with a funny riddle(6) inside. The answer to the riddle? A secret path to Neptune, the last stop on their journey.

The discovery of the secret path

Piko and Luma looked at the giggly ice ball. It sparkled brightly and seemed to wink at them. They couldn't wait to find out the riddle.

Piko, eyes sparkling with curiosity, then asks:
« What is the riddle? »

Luma, curious, says:
« I don't know. Let's look together. »

Piko, curious, asks:
« What is this? »

Luma, after looking at the frosty ball, explains to Piko:
« It's a poem. Listen carefully. »

Piko and Luma read the poem. They understood that the answer was a secret path. They followed the instructions and found a glowing passage. It was the way to Neptune.

With a final wink, Uranus the Frozen said goodbye. The two little asteroids, Piko and Luma, were then guided by the giggling ice ball containing the funny riddle. They ventured down a secret path to Neptune, the last stop on their journey. The giggling ice ball led them through the cosmos(7), revealing enchanted landscapes and hidden mysteries. But that, is another story...
